We went there on Saturday afternoon for lunch. They did not have half the menu available for lunch hence cut down one star. We were welcomed very nicely and had good customer experience. And as a vegetarian, I could not find many menu items available for lunch. However, the food we ordered was really good. Ambience was good too.
The restaurant is fabulous, the food is very very delicious. We had Jalfrezi chicken with garlic naan and it was unbelievably tasty. The owner and the staff are super friendly and meticulous at their job, the ambiance is very traditional, do not miss this place if you are around :)
Overall experience was great. Served delicious Indian food. Drinks are also served here. Food portions are good and the price is also reasonable. The service is quick and caring. Place was clean.
So impressed - wish we’d walked through their doors much sooner! The food was delicious - excellent quality, made fresh, beautiful presentations. Portions perfect; enough to leave you full but with just a little bit left. You’ll be tempted to finish it all because it just tastes so good, but you’ll decide you want to thoroughly enjoy every last bite and so you’ll bring it home for the following day. Nice atmosphere, polite and attentive service where multiple staff check in on you to ensure you’re satisfied. Already looking forward to next time! Highly recommend a visit to this location in Downtown Ancaster.
We went to the restaurant this evening for a cooking class. It was a great experience learning about the spices used and getting to prepare and eat what we prepared. Everyone enjoyed it so much we plan on returning to cook a few new dishes. We ent to the class after having eaten there previously and enjoying it so much. Go try it, try the cooking class to, you won’t be disappointed.
India Village never disappoints! Hands down the best Indian food in all of the GTA. The staff are always welcoming and go out of their way to make the experience even better. The quality and quantity of food is outstanding, and the flavours are 100 percent authentic. Even after moving away from Hamilton, I always come back just to have dinner at this restaurant.
India Village is consistently delicious and has wonderful service. Their staff is so friendly and their food is the absolute best around. I have tried a few other places and they are tasteless compared to the wonderful dishes at India Village. They remember my food allergy and take it seriously when preparing and packaging my food. I can't say enough wonderful things about this restaurant and the owner Jackie. If you like authentic, flavourful and well priced food this is the place for you!!!
