I love it. Greek Puffs, Chicken Platters and Tzatziki Sauce with chips! I personally love this spot. Won't lie I've had better Greek food but it's closer to to my place, price is right and 8t tastes authentic and great.

Great food. Great service. Atmosphere could use a facelift. The lemon potatoes are on point! Love the lamb chops and the moussaka. Belly dancers are a fun touch.

Paros has the best calamari, hands down. We drive to Airdrie just to eat here. Their platters are good for sharing and I love their moussaka which comes with either Greek or Caesar salad and lemon potatoes. I have no idea what they do with the potatoes but they're amazing. Service is really friendly too. The royal oak location is also very good but it is a much smaller selection. The Airdrie location serves more of a sit down dinner rather than the food court feel.

Last week when I am coming home from work, one of my daughters approach me with the nerves of a jellyfish and requested to ask upon me a question of great importance. I was taken aback by her boldness, as traditional somali girl shall never directly address the head man of the family unless it is extreme importance. She is suppose talk to my wife about trivial matters in order to allow me to take more of importance to the higher issues of the family. I tell her to allow me to undress from work and we shall talk. I proceed to my room and then question my dog as to what of great importance spawned such bravery from my daughter, and he inform me that she is considering entering with a date with a young man boy from school.

I laugh heartily at this as I am changing, she is barely of the age of emergence. I ask him what brings this upon her thoughts and he tells me that in Canada, young woman date at a very early age. I am surprise by this but not with extreme annoyance, I have been discovering constantly that Canada is very different than native somalia. I release my dog from my council and summon my daughter to my bed room.

Tuu'dle-ann sits down on bed with the presence of a sheep, I can tell she is nervous. I now have fore warning of what is coming next, so I am braced for it. She tells me a young boy from her class has asked for her hand in a dinner meal date upon my daughter, and she would like my permission to go. I look upon her eyes with my soul, and grant her allowance to go with this boy. She become wild with joy, I can tell that she was not expect me to allow, but I grant her this in order for her to attempt to become normal school student among her peers. I tell her this is one condition to be upheld: I am to chaperones this date. I know little of teenage culture in canada, but I do know if we home in mother Somalia that he would try unthinkable things upon her body which I cannot allow. I already have 7 children upon my clutch and I wish not to raise a small bastard child in addition to my own young ones. This does offer an advantage to me, if this man boy has collected enough honour upon his soul, I can perhaps dispense my daughter to him and collect many of his families riches in return, my purse is fat with many rubies but I will always continue to to collect more, and my house has become much crowded as my children grow. She agrees with a tear twinkling upon her cheek and great happiness upon her smile.

Saturday comes and I have dresses appropriately, brown slacks and a beautiful shirt. Tuu'dle-ann my daughter is dressed in one of her mothers most handsome dresses that she purchase at goodwill. We arrive at young man boy place of living, I bow as his father answers the door and announce myself. He is less impress to see my presence on his doorstep. I properly display my hand, and with it, a showing of my honour on to him to receive. He accepts and invites me in after learning who I am. He yells up the stairs upon his boy with a large voice and little patience. This pleases me. I can tell that he has collected much honour and does not wield it improperly with his family. The boy descends the stairs dresses in a way that sends fury upon my eyes. He has presented himself with poorly fitting jean pants and a rather large sport team jersey shirt. I already know I do not trust this boy, but for the pleasure of my daughter I must allow. Besides, his father has collected an immense amount of honour throughout his life, so I must reserve hope for this boy yet.

I herd the boy out to my van and he meets Tuu'dle-ann with politeness, I am impress. We proceed to paros restaurant without incident.  We enter and are seated properly, with a small confuse look from the service woman. I ignore this with a slight look of impunity upon her. My daughter becomes nervous when my annoyance starts to collect, but in order to stay calm I request one cup of gin and three menus from her immediate. The boy proceeds to engage me in conversation. I am taken aback with shock and awe. A man as young as him should not be attempt to converse with me directly! I accept this with pleasure, this boy is bold. MUCH bolder than I was at his inferior age. When I was of his stature I found myself deep in combat almost constantly with zimbabwe soldiers. I was hardened into a man at a very young age, but even then I would never attempt to talk directly to my elders. I could tell that somehow, this young man boy had harnessed an impressive amount of honour at an early age. I opened my soul to him as the night moved on.

My gin arrived as did the menus. After I order my order of the lamb kebabs, man boy immediate took over and ordered for him, and Tuu'dle-ann without allowing her to choose what she wanted herself. I become beaming with pride at this display. This young one did have the boldness to become a husband to my daughter. This was good. I immediate offer him a sip of gin and insist on toasting to his stature. He became excite with the offer of gin and joined me immediate with the toasting, but decline the gin. He was a much responsible young man. We toasted and then enjoyed our meal as I watched over the young ones conversing about seemingly useless school talk and gossips. We finish and leave without incident. He pays properly to the service woman and even leaves additional currency as a tip, which confused and shocked me. To pay over and beyond what was requested for the food was foolish, a serious blow to his reputation upon me.

I drop him upon his doorstep, and he kiss my daughter gently upon the cheek. I laugh heartily at this weak display upon the girl, perhaps he isn't the man I assumed him to be earlier. We proceed home and my daughter is extreme with the excitement and joy over the events of the evening. I was taken aback by this, he wasted extra money at the eating store, and then didn't dispense a full mating display or demand to see her again when he left the confines of my van.

I arrive home and summon my dog once again to my bedroom. He assure me that he protect my family from intruders when I was gone, and then I ask him about the events of the evening. He remind me that even though I was not raise in such a manner, that when I was to obtain a wife I was to collect her with haste and not allow any second thoughts if my collection of her was wise or unwise of her to allow. Canada wife selection is much different, and this I may not fully understand, but I do understand that the lamb kebab at paros was filled with impress taste and powerful gins. I will strive to return at a later date.

The best lemon potatoes and taztiki sauce I've had in a long time. Suggest you make reservations for evenings and weekends. Very busy and popular place. Delicious food.

I was a little confused by the location/decor of the restaurant, but the food was AMAZING! Definitely worth the hour drive to get there. Make reservations!
