Fresh food, great taste, good service. I bought a Groupon to try the Wok Box, so it was a very good deal we got. But I can honestly say for the size of the dishes, I would gladly pay what they ask. The food was delicious and made-to-order (no cilantro in the pad thai). The samosas were amazingly good and NOT greasy, as most are everywhere. We loved them. And the veggie spring rolls are very tasty. We had the pad thai chicken noodles and the bulgogi over rice. We liked everything and they were so large, we have plenty for tomorrow!
Its not bad. The food is decent. Having worked at a Wok Box I know the ins and outs of the kitchen. All the veggies and meat is prepared fresh so there's no horror stories of mistreated food being served to customers.
They do A LOT of allergy specializations. Gluten Free, Seafood Free, Poultry/Meat Free, Peanut Free. Its nice so that most people with allergies can go in there and still find a decent sized entree that they can eat.
I noticed that lately they've switched the style of making the chicken. Rather than it coming raw in the pre-portioned plastic cups, and cooked from raw, its all poached in the morning and then used throughout the day. To me this makes the chicken a little dry since is basically gets cooked twice. Whenever I go there I just get my meal with beef because that still has to be cooked from raw and tastes a lot more fresh than the chicken currently does.
All of the side order stuff is deep fried. I'm not crazy about the Spring Rolls, and I feel like the extra it is to make your meal a combo isn't worth the 2 Spring Rolls and a drink you get with the meal, so I usually avoid the sides. Its a better deal if you get a full order and you're sharing with people.
All that being said, the food is good. There's a huge selection of sauces so you'll find something to your liking eventually and you can customize a lot of the meal (take out some veggies if you don't want them etc). If I want a meal in less than 10mins and I don't want to hate myself for eating fast food then this is my go to place because its decently healthy, slightly over priced.
Great food!. I am gluten free and enjoy going to Wok Box a lot due to their numerous GF options and they make all GF meals in their own GF wok. There was only one time where they accidentally added some fried onions to the top of mine, I asked them to fix it and they only scraped the fried bits off. I had to ask them again to make me a new one since being Celiac, anything coming in touch with wheat can affect me. They were very nice about it and instantly made me a new one. I've never had any issues there and it's always good!
