This family-run restaurant is the best!! From the welcoming team that provides top notch down-to-earth service, the extensive menu options, to the delicious and well-presented food they serve in a timely manner, this is the best Vietnamese restaurant in town! Their hot and sour soup is so fragrant and amazing. We love Vi-La Palace!
Vi-La Palace is the best in town. My fiancee, who is Vietnamese, just moved here from Los Angeles, loved Vi-La Palace. I have been going back and forth from LA for the last year, and California has some of the best Vietnamese food I have ever tasted and was worried she may not like the Vietnamese food in Abbotsford. After trying every place in Abbotsford(that we know of), Vi-La Palace takes the cake. Authentic, and the taste is great. Highly Recommend.
Been ordering their takeout for some time now, decided to go there for lunch today! The restaurant is small but super packed with customers. The food was warm and delicious as usual. I love how they don’t make your soup spicy and give the hot sauce on the side, so you can put however much you like. We got a house beef pho and chicken pho. Perfect food, especially for a rainy day. The customer service is great as well, super friendly and accommodating staff.
Upon entering the restaurant, the interior is clean, sleek, and with dark rich hues.
Customer service was quick and also matter of fact, while being courteous and attentive.
The menus were easy to read, even though I have not had much Vietnamese cuisine and didn't quite know what everything necessarily was.
I ordered the 34, which was grilled pork and vermicelli noodles. The flavour was entirely in the pork, which carried the spice and sweetness of the dish. The meat then coupled with the peanuts to create a salty-sweet dance of flavour. Otherwise, the dish was bountiful with vegetables and the taste reflected that. The thing that I didn't enjoy were the noodles, because I felt that they were compacted together and colder than the rest of the dish.
I don't live in Abbotsford, so I don't see myself making a trip back here.
My absolute FAVORITE restaurant! I come 45 minutes just to eat here. Everything is so flavourful and perfectly done! I highly suggest the pho, crispy wings, and quail! The service is superb. Always treated like family here and always so personable. Will never stop coming to Vi La Palace. Thank you for your amazing service!
Absolutely amazing, I constantly eat here and they are so aware and accepting about when I can and can’t eat. The service is fantastic and the food is phenomenal. This is truly a wonderful place :)
Delicious food! The Pho is wonderful. Always friendly service. Can get busy at lunch time but always fast service and food. Come here often and will continue to come back!
I don't recommend the Chicken Pho. The broth was watery, chicken didn't see any lemon grass whatsoever and peanut sate sauce didn't have any peanut flavor. Beef Pho was really good and chicken thighs with rice too.
Bbh was really good. Pho ga I got a large and it seemed lacking in the amount of chicken I got, it was very noodle heavy. I thought just reduce the noodle portion by about 20% and I have the medium portion. The grilled pork was really good. Service was very good, probably the highlight. Even though it was my first time, I noticed the servers welcoming regulars by name. That was pretty notable. Overall, quite a good experience. Bbh was funny "Canadian version or Vietnamese version..." 😂
