second visit in last year...excellent meal last night; delicious veal scallopini and seafood risotto...server was slow to start but very attentive to our requests as we had a movie to catch in an hour nearby...would certainly return...don't go for decor or ambiance but food was very good!
This is the best restaurant I have been to in a long time. Chef Saverio is amazing and the food is so delicious, I can't begin to describe how much it is. Going back again. Went back tonight and wow. Wow. Wow. Everything cooked fresh. It was the best food I have eaten since I was just there. Going vs m with our friends. Go. You won't regret.
Been coming here for a number of years now. The woman owner is usually busy cooking up a storm in the kitchen. Love her food! And, I always save room for the homemade Tiramisu. The best best time to come is when they aren't too busy - week nights are best, the owner has more time to put lovin'' in the food. You can usually find the husband sitting at the back of the restaurant...not really sure what he does.
The set meals are a great deal. Comes with salad and an entrée. You choose your pasta, the sauce & the meat. I enjoy the linguine with vodka sauce, veal Parmesan and lasagna. The Brandy chop is also really good. If you like spicy foods, try the hot pepper sauce. Just a little will do. It's pretty hot!!
The decor doesn't look like it's changed since the 80's. It was probably stylish & great back then but now it's just a little tired. None the less I still love coming here for the food. If you enjoy simple & honest food you'll probably enjoy the Peperoncino.
New discovery for me. It's very difficult for me to find a half decent Italian restaurant. We decided to check out this place. When we walked in I was greeted by a lovely smile and seated right away. I usually like to speak about how awesome the food was but the service was next to none. The waitress was so kind, friendly and very sweet. The food was exceptional and I tryed everything the lady suggested. I don't normally sing songs about a place but this is a definite try. The waitress name was Samantha or Amanda, I'm sorry I forget but it was a 5 star experience for me.
Just like mom's. Had to respond given the last review. I don't know what they were talking about my husband and I came with my two kids. The young waitress was so sweet she took our order right away. Then the owner a very nice older lady and her husband came to see the kids. My pizza was probably the best I have had since my husband and I went to Rome! The crust was fantastic. And the owner made it with such care. The open view pizza oven entertained the kids while we had our appetizers. The calamari were fantastic. Great food at such an amazing price. Well worth the drive from thorn hill! Busy though during weekend. Make reservations!!!
One of my favoutite places in Woodbridge. One of my favourite places to eat in Woodbridge. Family owned and it makes all the difference. Great service. Fabulous meals. I loved the mussels, and the pasta is to die for. Homemade, fresh and perfectly made. Thx you guys. You make dining in Woodbridge fun and charming and without the big prices you find elsewhere.
Absolutely LOVE it!!. I was going to write a review on here to say how wonder the food and server is. And I can across a review written by searay1865...My family has been coming to Peperoncino for the last 15years. We've done every function our family had at this restaurant. The food is AMAZING, it is like being back home in Italy and you can tell it was cooked with SO much love. Also, the servers are the best servers in all of woodbridge. searay1865, If you knew anything about the people who own the place, you'd know that they aren't even smokers. Thank you to the staff at Peperoncino who hosted my 25th anniversary two weeks ago. My family and I couldn't be happier and we picked such a FABOLOUS place.

Nathan's Baptism couldn't of been better what a Wonderful Day!!! Especially the food absolutely Delicious!!! Its like home away from home. The atmosphere is so welcoming and warm especially with that wood oven pizza oh ya of course the tasty pizza's that goes with it. We had Nonna's stuffed Gnocchi with spinach and ricotta in a cream sauce...Heaven!!! Melt in ur mouth Rib-Eye steak cooked to your preference and Manicotti made by Nonna herself once again. I'm getting hungry again just thinking about it. The service was amazing and everything went so well. You can see they put a lot of TLC in the food presentation it looked fabulous with Chef Francesco's added touch...thank you!!! Always came by to see if we needed anything, let's just say we were well taken care of and Thank you to the friendly and professional staff. I would highly recommend this place for any funtions big or small they do it all. Even a night out on the town!!! Thank you once again for a Wonderful Day!!! Nathan gives this a 2 thumbs up!!! The owners definitely have their kitchen well run, the food is alway fresh with the highest quality ingredients, and the portions are extremely generous!

Honestly amazing food. I ordered the fried calamari, pizza pollo, penne a'la vodka, and the gnocchi with tomato sauce and it was absolutely amazing. Definitely 5 stars. I also received warm fresh bread as a side and it was so delicious. I definitely recommend this restaurant if you're in the mood for asking Italian food.
