I used to work in the area quite a bit around 5 years ago and got to end up knowing the area really well. One restaurant I frequented once every couple of months was Wok N Roll, I considered it one of the better Chinese lunch buffet spots in the area. It was cheap and fast as you could eat all you wanted for $10 taxes in.
I was in the area again yesterday and decided to visit this place. I found that the owners have changed and the decor has been updated, and was pleasantly surprised that they didn't change the buffet price!
Thing is, the food quality is not quite as it was a few years ago. The restaurant seemed clean and the selection was good. The food just seemed to lack seasoning. To be honest, this actually probably is healthier, but wasn't quite what I was looking for if going out to eat. The chicken balls, dry veal, and chicken wings were fried crispy, but lacked the seasoning salt/MSG flavour I'm used to.
Likely will come back as the service is quick and the price reasonable, just disappointed it changed.
Always come here for the lunch buffet. It’s always good and they don’t always have the same items which is nice. I order take out from here and it’s also very good.
First visit here was very good. Servings were very large and tasty. Lots to take home after filling up. Service was also very good. Recommend the sweet & sour pork with pineapple.
