Had the seafood melt and it was pretty good, fries were very tasty and the Greek salad was excellent. Service was also very good I would go back.
Bring on the headache. If there was a more affordable place to go out for Karaoke, that's on the way home, I don't think I will ever visit the Pony Corral again. Music is played at extremely high volumes, which after a while you just hear a lot of distorted sound and your ears start ringing. It's a small space and doesn't get that busy. There was a karaoke championship, which cuts into how many chances you get to go up. The host is okay. I feel her friendliness isn't genuine. However, the song list is not as broad. They don't have a lot of songs I like. The host told me to go on the website and I can look at the song list and make requests to add something I like. When I did go on their website, the song list wasn't available to me and there was no contact info to request anything. I think I was lied to. The waitresses are okay. Better than previous ones. The girls were quite vigilant in making sure everyone had full drinks. They could do a better job in handling the creepy man that was hitting on all the single girls. I've had the calamari before and it's very greasy and chewy. The chicken strips are dry. Fries are okay. Garlic bread is greasy but okay. It's basically food you eat when you're drunk and starving.
Enjoyed it. I thought the food was great with generous portion sizes. If my husband and son were full, that says a lot. I had the Cowboy ribs which were filling and tasty. Service lacked a little but otherwise an enjoyable outing.
