Best gelato in town! I prefer the non-dairy flavours to the dairy flavours but nothing is a bad choice here! So many unique flavour options.
Lovely, clean and bright! The friendliest server behind the counter just lit up our day and immediately asked if we'd like to sample anything (stark opposite of my experience at Nucci's down the street). The gelati was really flavourful and the portions were reasonable. It was a little pricier than I expected, but the product was perfect. Cute little patio on the corydon strip is great too. Will definitely be back at least a few times this summer.
I took my cousin here on one of the first hot Sundays of the year. I've frequented all the gelati/ice cream places on cordyn for years so opted to allow my 11-year old cousin leave her thoughts with you.
"It was good, I liked the mint chocolate". When asked if she'd return and bring her siblings she replied "yup".

Like it!. I am from Montreal, and one of my friend took me to GG the other day. I had sorbetto and I can actually taste the fruit in the ice cream. The girl worked there was very nice, she offered us samples for different flavours. The gelato was very smooth and refreshing. Definitely will go there again before I go back to Montreal.

Great. I had the lime and strawberry sorbetto. It was very good. I'd take it over ice cream any day. I was surprised to see the recent reviews of disappointment. Maybe the owners read the feedback because when we went the service was friendly and the portions were very generous - I'd say even bigger than before the renovations. Maybe it was just the server? She was very nice, always smiling, offered us samples (small disposable spoons) and filled the cones and cups as full as she could.
I love coupons and there is a coupon in the small winnipeg coupon book - buy one get one.
One thing I've noticed at all ice cream type shops is that the portion size depends on who's serving it. When it comes to soft/hard portions in a cone or a cup it's just eyeballing it.
And hey, don't be afraid to ask for more if you think you are not getting the appropriate portion. This place typically serves before you pay, so this is an advantage over many cold treat places that take your money and then give you your desert.

Best gelato ever! Fruit flavors are to die for. Ad their prices are amazing. Generous proportions too! With a little bit less self control I'd be there all day everyday.

They have a vast variety of flavours and are extremely friendly.

I had a small serving which is VERY reasonably priced ($4) are the serving portions are HUGE!!
If you want something a little smaller you can order the kiddie size which is $3.50)
The flavours i chose were Passion Fruit and Pistachio.
It is the perfect place to go with friends, family, after dinner date, afternoon treat...
My favorite summer place!. I Love G.G's! They have tons of flavors of Gelati and they are all delish! Cute little patio to sit outside with your gelati. Also, I think the prices are great. $4.00 for a huge dish that I can hardly finish! Give it a try.
