Went here Last night ordered pick up. The restuarant itself was very nice set up. The honey garlic Veal was AMAZING> My whole family agreed was the best dish we ordered. Lemon chicken a little bland. Sweet and sour Shrimp...Too much batter and the shrimp was over cooked and chewy. Scezuan ginger beef ...did not have much ginger taste. The food is decent, would try other dishes there, seem as one out of the 4 was delish. a bit on the bland side as far as im concerned.
China City is a tiny restaurant that can easily be missed because of its location and non-flashy sign. And by no means I want them to change that because I'm absolutely happy with their current price range. Their menu is quite similar to other Chinese restaurants in the neighborhood, but their quality is a bit more consistent. I order for pickup quite often here and there's really nothing to complain about. My favorite dishes here include egg foo young, seafood chow mein and mixed veggies with shrimp. Highly recommended.
Quite amazing! It is in an area with side to side small stores...not a fancy area. But once you get through their door you enter a huge restaurant set up in a way that makes you think you're in Hollywood. Multi layers, padded seating, etc. Looks like a great area to hold a wedding reception. Waitress was A+ and the food was very good. Prices same as the regular Chinese restaurants.
Love it. The shrimp dumplings and Shanghai noodles were really good, I will be going back for sure.
Great lunch buffet! We originally planned on going to Good Earth for lunch but since it is currently closed for renos, China City was luckily just one block away. Usual buffet staples (fried rice, chicken balls, mixed veggies, fried noodles, etc.) and all were as delicious as anywhere else. And at a total of $21 for two adults, you can't go wrong. We hope to come back to try their dim sum happy hour!
We order delivery from this place anytime we want Chinese food. Its pretty much the only place we can get combos from. The delivery guy is always friendly and happy and the workers that answer the phone are as well. The food always seems fresh and of good quality
Great food. I would definitely recommend to others. Found this place by searching nearby restaurants on urban spoon. Wish I could have seen the menu though, there is so much more to the menu than what urban spoon shows. Their website wasn't working for us to get on. Definitely eat here.
I was super excited to find a dim sum restaurant in my end of town. I was super impressed with the dim sum selection and the quality of the dishes. Fair prices especially if you go during happy hour.
Liked it. I chose to go to this restaurant as our first pick was closed-it was getting late. This place was close to home and this site said that it had a buffet. We were quite hungry at this point so we wanted our food fast. Unfortunately they didn't have a buffet when we got there, but they were very fast at getting us our food. It was probably better this way anyways. We had their egg rolls, chicken with vegetables(which they added cashews to at my request), chicken balls, and Singapore noodles. I didn't like the egg rolls - they just tasted off, but everything else was very good. Actually it was the best Singapore noodles I've had in a long time.
