Just tried for the first time! Ordered the Greek platter and it was absolutely amazing! My new favorite!!
A friend recommended this and I grabbed a chicken shawarma for lunch. it was the best shawarma that had all the right ingredients in it. the food is super fresh and tasty!

Great food and amazing service
A coworker of mine viewed the staff only areas of the restaurant - clean as a whistle, so we got the green-light to eat there. We’re not health inspectors but we do get to view many restaurant kitchens, in EXTREME detail. Believe me; there are a lot of restaurants I cannot eat at for this reason, but this isn’t one of them.
Ordered the Greek salad topped with beef. Oh my God that dressing was to die for. Huge portions, wonderful flavour on the beef - but that dressing deserved a friggin parade. Seriously, the portion was so large my body started telling me it was full, but the dressing was telling me to keep going. So, so, so good. Five stars on that dressing alone.
Needless to say I will be back for more.
Had stopped by with some coworkers for lunch. Middle eastern/Mediterranean food is usually never a bust and always good. I ordered the gyro with lamb and fries. It was good and satisfying. I liked how I was able modify the amount of sauce they put upon request. I didn't ask for extra vegetables, but I don't they they'd charge more if you ask.
Eating Mediterranean food gives me a level of satiety comfort, which this restaurant has met. Recommended to all.
This was the second time I’ve ordered from taste of Mediterranean and I haven’t been disappointed with the food . I’ve tried their beef gyro, chicken shawarma and chicken souvlaki pita and they have all been delicious . The meat is never dry . I’d like to try the Lebanese platter next I’ve heard good things !

It’s worth it to hit up this slightly out-of-the-way downtown spot for your middle-eastern and Mediterranean cravings for a casual lunch or light-dinner options.
The chicken shawarma is a favourite of mine - tender and always moist chicken with a delicious citrusy, creamy garlic sauce and fresh veggies. Unlike other places they only offer a smaller sized pita, but with the option of white or whole wheat and a good variety of side dish options to round out your meal.
Greek salad has the same garlic sauce instead of traditional oil-and-vinegar based dressing, but I love the sauce, so the variation is a welcome one to me.
As for unique options you won’t find elsewhere, I enjoy their “saucy potatoes” which have a rich, savory tomato-based sauce with another welcome shot of the garlic sauce. They’re offered as a side with many of the combos.
Spanakopita is a tasty vegetarian option as a side or in a hearty platter with all the fixings too. It’s been flaky and tender even through delivery when we’ve had it.
Only item we’ve tried that wasn’t great was the bland roast chicken which was not terrible, but with so many flavourful options stood out as lacking in seasoning and a touch over cooked.
As for value for your money, walk in customers will find several daily specials posted, plus they have a stamp card where you get a free shawarma or platter after the repeat purchases the same, and as of the writing of this review they also offer free delivery through SkipTheDishes if you’d rather stay home! When we do order through Skip they get the order right every time, which isn’t something I can say for other shawarma places we’ve ordered from.
You get SO MUCH food here! Sharing a meal would be easy. I've been here a few times and the food is tasty and fresh. Cooked just right. There are a few tables to sit down at and it's a great little place to get away from the office and slowly enjoy a large, hearty meal.
Loved it, i have been there couple of times with family. Loved their food, light and tasty. I love the falafel sandwich and highly recommend it, filled with crispy and extremely tasty falafel balls topped with vegetables and garlic sauce (yummy), the other items which i like and suggest everyone to try are souvlaki platter having greek salad a very healthy choice having a portion of vegetables, meat, rice and potato. Love going there though i am living in south but its worth it.
Great place to come for a quick lunch. Chicken souvlaki and chicken shawarma pitas are very good, but can be extremely messy with a lot of garlic sauce on them. Not a fan of their potatoes. They would be better as a Greek lemon potato, instead of the soupy tomato sauce that come with.
