Was there today, the aesthetics and atmosphere are incredible, the waitress was very friendly, cute, and helpful. The food was very good quality and very good portions, those are some of the best chicken fingers I’ve had ever. I will definitely be back and will spread the word about your charming restaurant. �
The waitress attended to us promptly and the food came out in a timely matter. I ordered the chicken finger meal. I was very surprised at the size of the fingers, they were huge, and that there were 5 of them. The chicken fingers were very tasty. Fries were good. The only problem is that the amount of honey dill sauce given was not enough for the amount of fingers given. Best to ask for another if ordering them. Others at the table had fish and chips, pickerel and cod. The size of the fish was also huge and everyone said it was delicious.
I would try this place again.
I've had lunch here many times and I've always enjoyed it. The service has been slow a couple of times but not too bad. I've enjoyed the stir fry, the seafood melt and the soups have been very good. The view is cool, you can watch people walking by in the mall as well as look out onto Portage Avenue. I'll be back!
Simple dish but my poutine was amazing today...perfect amount of cheese with just enough gravy paired with perfectly cooked potatoes! YUM! i recommend going for a taste test for a naughty lunch!
Once someone noticed me and seated me..... Excellent cheese cake, good soup, and good seafood sandwich. It's been so long since I was there I can't remember the prices. I like the food I've had, the servers don't check up on you enough, and it is over priced considering the restaurant is attached to a vlt-busy lounge. (Children are often sitting on the benches just outside the lounge waiting for their parents to finish gambling. This is a huge no-no for me, and I can't stand the site of it.
I recommend it as a stop-in for dessert or a quick bowl of soup. (hot foods are always served hot, cold foods are always served cold)

Very Awesome place. Love their steak sandwich as well as their herb and garlic chicken wing basket. Reasonably prompt, clean place, pretty good servers (the best one is no longer there though). Decent prices. Overall have been mostly happy whenever I go there.

Awesome fish, Great view.. The full order of pickerel fish was really good/filling the first time, but less portioned and less tasty the second time. Will try again to see if it is consistent. They are sold out of the pickerel a lot around lunch time. Soup is not bad, on the small side. Street view by the window is great.
Hidden Gem in Portage Place!. My co-workers and I just went for lunch at Cherry Creek Cafe and it was wonderful! I had a huge Cajun Chicken Taco Salad so big I needed to take half home. The salad greens were extremely fresh (unlike at some places where I've had salads that look like they came out of a bag), and the toppings were delicious and plentiful (peppers, onions, tomatoes, olives and two kinds of cheese - sour cream and salsa on the side). Some of my co-workers had fries with their meal which I got to sample and were some of the best I've had in a very long time. Portion sizes were huge and the prices were extremely reasonable. There was prompt and attentive service (I asked for more salsa and hot sauce and no problems getting either) and our waitress had a great attitude with plenty of jokes to go around. It's amazing this place isn't busier. I hope this review will help change that. For all of the above reasons, we will be back again very soon!
Underappreciated. My dining partner and I enjoyed a pleasant night out here, and I was surprised that we were the only people in the dining room. He had the Manitoba pickerel, I had a chicken pita and clam chowder; all reasonably priced. Everything tasted good and was presented well. The staff were attentive and the atmosphere was clean and comfortable. I would go here again, as I think it is one of the better choices for an evening meal in the area-- especially if you're not looking for the big chain restaurant experience.
Friends. This bar is like the show Fiends but in a unique way.
Paul, Christie, Kim Miles, Dale are daily regulars,. Very enjoyable conversation every day! D shows us his iPad, Miles plays with his bird. Sometimes Brian from CNN somes in to enlighen us all. Ya goota be there!
