First time eating samosas and momos. A new experience which was quite good. Prices are good. Salad was excellent. Definitely not a fancy place but who cares.
Generally a good little place for a quick bite. My personal favourite is the butter chicken and mixed veggies. It's a no nonsense, quiet little hole in the wall that I've loved for many years.
It's hard to find Nepalese food so while it's not super traditional, it's still a place that I go when I get the craving.
I wouldn't recommend the samosas as they can be a little dry but the momos and roties are pretty good for a lunch or dinner. You can buy them in bulk from their freezer section.
I stopped in yesterday to pick up some samosas. They have many varieties of flavors. I opted for the frozen packs that you bake at home, rather than the ready-to-eat variety. We baked a couple when we got home and they were delicious. We ordered 6 veggie and 6 chicken. It is nice to have them frozen so we can enjoy some more another night. Great little shop for decent samosas.
Great quick meal. The samosa's are tasty and at a good price. The butter chicken is decent. Good portions. This is one of the last minute meals go to place as there is no wait.

Who knew?. Eat On Samosa is located in a non-descript strip mall on Pembina. I would have never found it by myself. My neighbour told me that their samosas were very delicious, so I went over to get some.
I ordered Bison and chicken Samosas. Since I didn't have time to eat there, I bought one bag of each, 12, frozen, and a bottle of tamarind sauce.
When I put them in the oven at home, a great smell started to surround me. When I took them out, I couldn't believe how much bison was in the samosas. They were absolutely packed. The samosa is delicious, without being too salty, and the dough is fabulous. The tamarind sauce is tangy, sweet, and a bit spicy, and a great addition to the samosa.
I'll defintely have to be back in the future to get some more samosas. It's a great option for when you are too lazy to cook. You just put them in the oven and you get something that tastes awesome.
Love This Place!. This little restaurant out on Pembina Hwy is a little gem. The owner/cook that we met on our first try is from Bhutan and she is so sincere and cheery with a talent for serving up food that has a homemade flare. The second time we went there was a different cook who was just as cheerful and delightful. I love it when we find places like this.
This cozy restaurant is perfect for quality meals, which are cheap and fast! My favorite meal would have to be the creamy butter chicken, I'm actually eating it right now :D. The owner is extremely nice and very hospitalic. The food is always fresh, its made on a daily basis by scratch. Their signature samosas and samosa sauce are the best I've had in Winnipeg!They now serve Halal meats, and have vegetarian menu options too. Eat On Samosa does everything from small lunch orders to catering for weddings, school events, birthday parties, etc! Definitely worth checking out, I personally guarentee you won't be disappointed.
Two of us arrived later in the evening and they were somewhat short staffed. Are orders were taken and after a delay, the owner arrived and handled everything very professionally and made the experience very enjoyable. When the food arrived he provided extra sauces, checked in constantly and really listened to the feedback. Fantastic place with fantastic food. Definitely recommend for roti and samosa.
Great baked samosa, Chicken and Pork momos with great achaar! Super friendly owner and makes you feel like at your home. Highly recommended.
It's a unique setting offering Tibetan style momos. They also have great Samoas and the crust is very good. I like their sauces it complements what they offer. Tried their roles also very good. Very authentic and one of a kind, one request would be to keep the taste consistent.
Loved them and went to their location when it was still open in Fort Richmond quite often. They are still amazing after all these years!! Incredibly flavourful samosas—all of them. Their Choley (spelling?) is amazingly warming and cozy. 10/10 would recommend giving them a try!

Nice resturant with great ambience . The lady is very helpful. Really enjoy their momos. Maybe the only authentic momo place in Winnipeg. Their ready to eat Samosa's are also good.
