We ordered from here for the first time. It was okay. The lady was funny and polite. Have to agree there isn't much in charleswood. I would order again!
Panda is by far the best take-out Chinese we've had in Winnipeg. Been going there for decades. Everything they make us is wonderfully fresh, consistently high quality, and quite reasonably priced for the amount of food you get.
Yes, their wait times are painful. We never get it delivered, and try to order mid-week to avoid long waits. If anyone knows of a Chinese restaurant in St. Vital of this caliber, please let us know in the comments, because we've tried all the popular ones, and none come even close.
We have always been treated well, one of our favorite little places. The ginger beef is the best I have had yet here in the peg!
Good food and friendly employess. First time coming here yesterday and i can say that they have really nice and friendly staff. i asked them to recommend 5 different dishes for me and the guy helping me recommended trying the five spice squid, breaded shrimp, kung pao chicken , five spice ribs and the shanghai noodles. all the dishes were really good and i especially loved the squid and chicken they were delicious!!! i also ordered beef fried rice which i really loved. they werent cheap on the beef and had a lot in there. all in all i got my moneys worth and would recomend the dishes i had!!
Good food, decent price. One of my favourite places to order Chinese, and it's right down the street from us. I have an allergy to MSG and I can tell you that no matter how many times I ask "no MSG - it's an allergy" SO many Chinese places still use it. I have never once had trouble with food from Panda, and the food always tastes fresh and is piping hot. Priced as you would expect for any decent Chinese place. The only complaint I have, is you can't pay debit. You can pay cash, or Visa/Mastercard over the phone. The staff are always courteous and friendly. My favourite dish: honey garlic veal!

Sure, sometimes your food takes a while to arrive (they're usually pretty honest and realistic about the timeframe), but the people are always friendly and the food is always delicious and at the end of the day, that's what matters most to me.
I've never been able to find another restaurant which makes such amazing Szechuan chicken either.
After all these years, they still ask about my son every time we order (even if it's been months!) and they always remember our favourite dishes.
The people, as much as the food, keep us coming back.

AWESOME!!!. This is the best chinese food. The food is always fresh, hot and the service on the phone and in person is pleasant. I have never had a problem with them. I have allergies and have to be very careful where I order chinese food from. Never been sick from eating here...I get my chinese food fix and fill. You get A LOT of food for your money here.
Good food, awful customer service. Phoned for a delivery order and they had no one to deliver it and they were still open for another hour. Will take my business else where.

Delicious! This our go to Chinese food restaurant. We just finished our meal that we got delivered and it was perfect. We ordered sweet an sour chicken balls, Szechuan chicken, ginger beef, deluxe chow mein, dry breaded ribs, beef and greens and we have tons of leftovers. When I ordered our food the guy who took the order told us they were really busy so it could take over an hour, however it was here in about 40 minutes!
