Discovered this restaurant a few months back and have been 3-4 times since. Good food, comfortable venue, although we sat in the dining room last night (usually sit in the lounge) and left smelling like we had been sat around a campfire thanks to the wood smoker in the kitchen.
That aside, enjoyable evening and will return.
Really good food for a reasonable price.We have been a few times and the food has always been great. I would have put the pricing at $$ as it seems pretty reasonable.
Food is delicious and the service was excellent. I would highly recommend it. We were in the lounge area, and the environment was inviting, casual and enjoyable.

Restaurant only opened in Nov 2016. We have been several times. Love the cozy atmosphere, always sit at the bar. Bartenders are very friendly, pour great drinks. A few misses on the food, but always rectified. Would recommend the Baja Club, guacamole is amazing.
Cozy atmosphere. Loved the food and drinks. Considering it was the weekend my wife and I were served promptly. Loved that our server checked in on us just enough to not be intrusive on our date night. Would love to go back again!
We went with a large group for dinner. Drinks were a little slow to come out, and they ran out of glasses for water (they could use a bar back or second bartender in my opinion). The bartender makes an outstanding old fashioned! One of the better places to order an old fashioned in this city.
My wife had cedar plank salmon, and she said that it was delicious. The salmon was a large cut, and the maple sauce was really good.
I ordered the T Rex rib with Mac and cheese and beans for a side. A friend had the pork ribs, and another had beef ribs. My one large rib was really fatty, but the sauce was excellent, and the sides were great. My friends really enjoyed the beef ribs, and the order of pork ribs was huge. I would go with either of these instead of the t rex next time.
Overall our experience was good, we would definitely go back.
It was also nice that they don't instantly add the tip for a large group.
Tried this place last Friday night. There was big line up and an hour wait to get a seat. We asked the reception if we could sit at the bar and we ended up at the bar the whole night. I ordered the Chicken & Rib Fest while my friend ordered the T-REx Beef Rib but was informed the latter was out for the night. So my friend decided to get the Pile O'bone Pork ribs. I did enjoy my ribs not as much as my friend. It was fall off the bone with wood smoke taste and grilled marks and was delicious. My friends ribs was all fat, not even fall off the bone, no smoke taste, no grill marks. He didn't enjoy it but the manager was kind enough to give us a discount in our entire bill. Overall, we did enjoy the place. We'll be back.
I have been to the Rockwood 4 times now & have not been disappointed. Last time I was there it was for lunch and I had The Smoked Beef Brisket Grilled Cheese Sandwich with the Little House on the Prairie salad. That sandwich was to die for....I would order it again in a heartbeat! I also love their bruschetta and the Chicken Fajitas are also good. Definitely recommend this place to anyone!
Salmon was excellent on the night I visited. My dinner partner ordered the steak, medium well and they delivered a great meal. Good first impression and I would recommend.
