Ninho De Portugal - Winnipeg - Photo album

The busniess needs to update there hours of operation. I live out of town and work in the city only curtain days and went after work which i work until 5 and the busniess was closed, other then that amazing staff and food.
Great selection of portuguese foods, and great service!
Great place to pick up Portuguese cuisine. The staff are delightful to deal with. It's always a great experience to shop.
I might have to revisit. Hot food counter looked good. Lots of dry goods. Picked up some custard tarts and i think they'd been frozen? Maybe there's a day of the week to go for fresh. Pastry is pretty disappointing when they're refrigerated/frozen.
The Bifana sandwich here is AMAZING! & only 4 bucks. If you are planning to get lunch here, come early, as there can be a line-up. Very friendly staff. If you go on fridays, they have delicious cod cakes.
Wow this place is incredible. I wasn't even sure if this place was open but I decided to take a chance. I ordered a bifana ($4) and some potatoes (it's priced according to weight but my 6-8 were less than $2). It's very good portions so you won't be hungry. The lady there is so nice and helpful. T
Trust me, if you want an inexpensive lunch that you will love, try this deli. The Biffana sandwich is heaven on a bun. Bought 3 sandwiches, fabulous roasted potatoes and a cauldron of soup and the bill came to less than $17. I wish I worked closer to there as I would eat there twice a week minimum.
Love that bifana, my office used to be close and I ate here often. Great hole in the wall type of joint... plus Sumol (a delightful Portuguese soda) passion fruit is my favourite flavor. Give it a go
Decent selection of Portuguese groceries. Reasonably priced. In-house bakery. I keep going back for the bifana (Portuguese pork on a bun) which is just about the best thing you can have for lunch.
Always customer friendly. They have all the foods of the island. They make portugese food there, hot and ready along with bakery items. Is a grocery store as well.
One of the last great authentic Portuguese shops in Winnipeg. Amazing Bifana sandwiches which always need to be accompanied with a Maracuja (Passion Fruit) Sumol. Not sure what I am speaking about...go order these two for a quick lunch and see what you have been missing!
The little shop with tons of ethnic food. Love this store.
Great spot to grab a quick lunch! Very reasonably priced and great service. Always get a good laugh when I visit!
Hot pork sandwiches new awesome soup daily, daily lunch rush so get here quick. Take out only, family run.
This place is awesome. I was genuinely upset when I discovered how good the food was. So many wasted years deprived of the deliciousness that goes on there.
Great service great food
Their $3.50 pork sandwiches and egg pastries were amazing! It's my new go-to spot near HSC.
Best bifanas in the city. Make sure to get some pasteis de nata while you're there and a few sumols.
