Victoria Seafood Restaurant - Winnipeg - Photo album

The rice was dry, and it seemed chunks of rice weren't stirred appropriately fried because I could see pieces of plain white rice. Overall, the quality is a bit lacking, sorry, but I wouldn't go back.
Placed a takeout order this weekend for my family. Took it home and my brother opened up the wraps that go with their Peking duck and found a wire that was stuck inside. He unwrapped/opened it up to add his duck but luckily noticed it before hand or it would've been a trip to the hospital for him! I
I have now been going to Victoria Seafood for the last 27 years by far the best dim sum in Winnipeg. Food always so fresh happy hour even on weekends. My favorite is the shrimp dumplings with Chinese chives so good. I can't say enough about this place. Love it so much.
Staff very friendly. The dim sum is delicious, and the price is favorable (everyday 11:00am-4:00pm happy hour, any dim sum S-L only $3.50dine-in and pick up only)
They supplied dim sum all day long, daily dim sum special prices (small, medium and large dim sum dishes all for one same prices) before 4 pm ; after 4 pm return to regular prices. They also has a great variety choice of main dishes too.
We ordered take-out for lunch today and the food was very disappointing. The noodles in the fried noodle dish was NOT even fried. They just boiled the noodles and placed the meat and vegetables on top of the boiled noodles. The dough in the shrimp dumpling and shrimp rice rolls was thick and mushy,
Food is actually pretty good but unfortunately we ordered take out. Turns out they don’t cook the food until you get here even if you specifically mentioned when you are coming (an hour ahead of time). So taking out is a huge waste of time. Look elsewhere if you don’t want to get stuck waiting.
This is perhaps the second best place in the city to have dim sum (Kum Koon being first) , I come here at least two times a week now because I’ve moved into the area. This is a family run business with a total of two people in the kitchen and one waitress, and at peak hours orders will be mixed up,
