Made a reservation on Open Table and we were treated to a fantastic night out. The owner (also doubles as the chef and server) was informative, prompt and attentive. Food was excellent! Such a great little hidden gem.

We booked reservations online early to go to the movies. We received confirmation but when we arrived they had no idea we were coming. It was just the chef there. He was "strange, excentric". We all stood around debating whether to leave or not. But because we didn't have enough time to find another place, we stayed. The server came in a few minutes later and saved the day. He quickly got the ball rolling and we felt welcomed and it was back on track. The chef actually does 'Chef' very very well. The food was so good. We enjoyed the food and do recommendations going, just maybe not so early 😉.

This was my first time trying Cafe La Scala. The owner was super relaxed and you could tell he really loved his food. He asked us what we felt like eating and would make something special just for us off menu. The service was great and the food was superb! Great dining experience!
