We had our meal delivered from the McPhillips location. The pasta was good and the Sorrento's salad was really good. The BAD.......since we were celebrating, we decided to get a piece of cheesecake each. The flavour was good, but at $4.00 each it was a joke. Even $4.00 for both pieces would be too much. The pieces were tiny. The whole bill was pretty expensive overall.
We rarely eat in at this restaurant but our favorite is the Sorrentos salad. We get it with breadsticks and that combo is a meal in itself. The salad has a generous portion of ham and salami sliced into it and the dressing is a perfect balance of spices. We have ordered this as takeout many times and it never disappoints. The restaurant itself is ok in terms of décor and the service is always good there.
Love going here, for a good and reasonably quick dinner. Must get the Sorrento Salad or Chicken Ceaser Salad, and all of the pizzas are good tasting. Good prices, especially if you have a coupon for the resturant. Service was quick and nice waiters.
SwizzleStyx. I had lunch here with a friend today, we meet here quite regularly for soup and salad. I can't comment on much other than their soup and salad but I've never had a bad experience here. The soup is always delicious and hot, I've tried all of the salads and they are all excellent. The bread sticks are super fresh and yummy. The service is always great and the restaurant is clean and cozy. We will be back!

Ups and downs but mostly good.
The best soups of all 3 locations bar none.
Very good pizza always! Quality toppings and cheese.
Excellent pasta and meat sauces.
A meaty, savory sauce and decent portion size for prices.

Todays pasta special was as good as always here.
The bread sticks albeit they're good, are second to Ellice Avenue.
Same for the salads and lasagna although good, better on Ellice for sure.
Somehow, my friends salad was soggy so must be made ahead in large batches.
My experience with the recent takeover is that the service is always good and owner checks to see all is well while never letting u know who she is.
The place was clean yet busy and outfits servers wore were clean.
Today, all servers came to say hi and were exceptionally outgoing polite and friendly.
For example, one waitress remembered me from a visit a few months back and came over special to say hello.
The homemade chocolate cake is usually very good.
I agree the restaurant needs some help. I pick up and the pizza and breadsticks are still some of the best in the city!!

Half & Half Pizza. I recently ordered from this location for the first time and despite a longer than anticipated wait for food was overall pleased. I was very excited to hear that you can get half & half pizzas made at no extra charge. This is great for my bf and I because he loves meat pizzas while I prefer vegetarian. For take out we ordered a 15" pizza half "Special" half "Mediterranean" ($23.95). The Special was loaded with a delicious combination of meat and veg while the mediterranean had a good share of olives, feta, tomatoes, and onions. The crust was a bit thick for my liking but tasted good. To go along with the pizza we also shared a regular sized Sorrento Salad ($10.95) which is probably one of my favorite salads in the city. Fresh lettuce, tomatoes, mozza cheese, salami, and ham in an oil and vinegar dressing. The smallest size it comes in is regular and it is enough to easily feed 4 as a side or 2 as a complete meal. The one thing I didn't care for is that they told us it would be a 30 minute wait for pick up when in fact it was more like 45 minutes. I would order from them again.
PS: I noticed a lot of comments about poor staff/service in other reviews. This restaurant was taken over by a new owner/new management as of June 1, so hopefully service will improve!

Sorrento Salad and a pizza are a great combination and one of our "go-to" meals for restaurants we frequent. Consistently very good.
Love their salads and breadsticks! Pizza is yummy too. Place has been remodeled. Great service.
Food is always good dine in Or take out or delivery great crust and toppings all the pasta dishes are excellent old school made in house.
After our granddaughter's hockey game we and another couple wanted to just have something nice for supper.
My wife and I decided to share the medium salad.
Too much for one and probably too much for 2, but we managed to finally finish it, by offering about one-third to our friends.
Go there and enjoy the atmosphere as well.
We went to do take out. We ordered the chicken club salad and Chicken fingers and fries with *home made honey dill. Everything was perfect. There always busy because the food is great!
