This is the best u-bake pizza in Winnipeg! It's easily as good as Santa Lucia and Garwood Grill, which of course serve a ready-baked pizza. Make sure you get the Deluxe Combo, it's their best. Bake it on a pizza stone or screen in your own oven and wow, KA-BOOM! Extreme deliciousness. It's obvious that they only use fresh and high-quality products, and you won't find any nasty fake mozza here, like many pizza restaurants now use in Winnipeg. Santa Lucia says "It's all about the sauce!", and I agree, all restaurants mentioned in this review have great, mouth-watering pizza sauce.
I love this pizza. Very consistent and tasty. Can't go wrong... we alway order the deluxe combo and substitute Italian sausage for the shrimp..
Hands down the best Pizza in Winnipeg. I've been going to them ever since they first opened as Anne's U-Bake. I highly recommend this outlet and am aware of folks traveling from many other parts of the city to get a Pizzanne's pizza.
Unfortunately several years ago, they tried to expand too quickly and all of the franchises eventually went under. Thank goodness the main outlet survived!
I don't know why the other outlets didn't work out, but perhaps there's something about Westdale that clicks with them. Ingredients are always fresh and the sauce is excellent.
Negatives are that the outlet is very poorly marked (no sign at all outside the Extra Foods doorway), so you have to already know that it's there. Also, on several occasions they run out of ingredients. Seems strange that they'd run out of anything given that there's a grocery store right next to them, but I guess they are just that particular about the quality of their ingredients.
Great pizza!. The pizza is excellent! This is about the only place in Winnipeg you can get pizza anymore that isn't dripping with grease and loaded with cheap ingredients. I love that we can add our own ingredients before cooking too. There should be a sign on the door to Extra Foods telling people how to find this place, probably just us long time Westdale residents even know about this place.
Great pizza. Tried Pizzanne's for the first time and it was great. Heard about it from a couple of friends and figured it was worth a shot.
Ordered the pizzas (southwest chicken and combo) and they were ready to go in roughly 10 minutes. Cooked them at home and they came out awesome!
Would recommend this place to anyone looking for an easy dinner.
Be warned, it is located in the Extra Foods on Roblin Blvd. Took us a little while to find it, as there was no sign on the outside of the building.
Best pizza in the city, I've been going here for over 10 years and in a trained chef. These guys do it right!

I don't personally go for Italian sausage on my pizza but their's is out of this world and I get it here every time. The quality of the ingredients is second to none, but the crust is the best part. I order thin crust, but it's all awesome.
Was in the area and stumbled across it, decided to give it a try and we were so glad we did. The pizza was probably one of the best I have had in the city, to bad it's not close to my house. We will have to make another trip soon.

I love this place. It has so much nostalgia for me. My dad used to bring it home every other Friday in the 80's when it was off Dakota. Then it moved to Southdale Square on Lakewood in the early 90's. Then that one closed down and the last one left is this one in the No Frills. I make regular trips from Sage Creek to pick up these pies. And they have frozen ones for $6 that you can grab. Fresh pizza, friendly service and a great price. I'm going there tonight!
These you-bake pizzas are fantastic. It's difficult to make your own pizzas for their price or quality. Highly recommended for those looking to grab a great pizza on the way home that is ready to put in the oven.
The crust is handmade, delicious dough, generous amount of toppings, pizza was absolutely delicious, been back a second time, will keep going back. Great service, great price and friendly guy!
