Nice surprise. Never ordered from New China before. Our normal go-to is Golden Chopstick. Unfortunately it was closed for "holidays" the week we ordered.
Everything arrived hot and each dish was distinct.

Had delivery this evening for Chinese. Ordered 5 items and got a free dish. Which was chicken fried rice. Deluxe Chow Mein was good, and the Sesame Chicken was just as I thought it would be. Overall happy with this place.

The food was good.. Really enjoyed the Breaded Veal.

Very Good Chinese Food in St. Vital. We have been ordering Chinese food from New China Kitchen for several years and find the food to be delicious and reasonably priced. Our favourite dishes are egg foo yung, breaded dried veal, pan fried shrimp and honey garlic chicken balls. Along with this, the staff and service are excellent! I highly recommend New China Kitchen!!
Excellent buffet. Wow first time trying lunch buffet and am extremely pleased. Awesome food and friendly staff. LOVE THE WINGS. Chicken balls are very meaty and just the right amount of batter, vegetables were flavoured just right, wonton soup was delicious.
I arrived a little late and the server was extremely kind and let me stay while continued serving me, which she DID NOT need to. As she was working over time( 15 minutes) it is only common courtesy I tipped her to show my gratitude.
Excellent food, friendly staff, best small buffet in town. With items such as Veal, BBQ char siew pork, and low salt items, this buffet keeps me coming back.
They don't salt the food down with MSG. They maintain a good quantity of items throughout the buffet. The interior is a little dated, but the staff are very friendly and work hard to make you happy. To reduce costs for the owners they would like to receive cash for orders under $10 during the buffet. Being a small business owner I'm happy to oblige them this courtesy.
The items you can order a'la carte are exceptional. I've ordered from plenty of places in town and their items are definitely flavorful. Quantities of the fried rice ordered could be better, but I'm a big guy and like a lot of rice with my order.
Cantonese chow mein would be their signature dish.

Favourite chinese food in winnipeg, MUST TRY. I have tried many of the other Chinese restaurants in st. vital and New China Kitchen is by far the best! The food is very tasty, fresh, with large portions. The staff is also very friendly and kind.
My family loves the deluxe cantonese chow mein, breaded dry veal, wonton soup, kung pao chicken, breaded dry shrimp. You must try these dishes!

I was actually quite impressed and satisfied with quality and quantity of the food from New China Kitchen!
The sweet and sour dish was tasty and didn’t taste like syrup! The other sour dish with bean sprouts and pickled veggies was so good, tasted so healthy!
It’s a 5 star for me! ☺️
I have never had a dish i did not enjoy. We order at least once a month and i am never disappointed. If you had a bad experience you are faking it. Or you had a one off.
The food was very fresh and delicious. It came quicker than expected and the chicken balls, hot and sour soup and deluxe wonton were fantastic. Honestly everything was great, I even called them after to let them know how happy we were. Thanks New China Kitchen
