The food was outstanding! The Old Fashions we spot on! The service was excellent! This is a great place to go before or after an event! They have a stage for live music and the ambiance is all pub...I love it!
I always order the Shepard’s pie and have never been disappointed. The portion sizes are huge and the staff there are extremely friendly. I’ve never had a negative experience here. Plus their cocktails are cheap and taste amazing. Best whisky sours in Winnipeg.
Delicious pub food, extremely friendly staff, nice music and a great atmosphere. Good selection of nice, cold beer. The prices are good and service is fast.
The patty was nice with a little bit of charcoal on the outside while the bacon was smoky. The bun kept the burger all together; never got my hands messy. The fries were homemade and I liked the potato skins on the ends.
Earlier this year I took in the Downtown Biz Tap in Tour. One of the locations on the tour is Shannon’s Irish Pub and Eatery. Shannon’s is a place I’ve dropped into in the past, and this tour made me think I should visit again. There is always a good selection of beer on tap at Shannon’s
Best Pub in Town!. Cheap Jamesons and Smithwick's on tap. Classic Irish pub feel, and I'm familiar with that having lived in Ireland for quite some time. Great bar. Loved the live music as well.

My wife has always wanted to check Shannon's Pub out and last Friday we did. We both really enjoyed the place as well as the food we both had the burger and fries and it was very good, the burger had an 8oz patty which was juicy and the fries were so good in there vinegar bath. Overall great eats friendly staff and a great place.
Great Place to be. My buddies and I went down a couple weeks ago for a bachelor party. Started off with beers, burgers, and nachos. Burgers were huge, for sure made in house. Fries and nachos were great too. Beer selection is awesome and the servers were deffinately easy on the eyes. Service was quick and our beers were full all night even though it was crazy busy. We will for sure be going back!
Margarita? Try a Guinness. I don't know what the last reviewer was talking about, because Shannon's is one of my favourite pubs in this city. Everytime I've gone there, the staff have been friendly and prompt (with a slight, understandable exception of saturday nights), the beer selection is excellent, and neither myself nor anyone that I know have had problems with the food! I don't know how someone could complain about an order when THEY DIDN'T EVEN KNOW WHAT WAS IN IT.
Feels like home. Good burgers, good chips, good beer on tap, pool, darts...it's a relaxed place to hang out with friends. It's a comfortable neighbourhood pub in the middle of downtown, and five minutes from everywhere you might want to be on an evening out.
