Mongos gives you the option to eat as healthily as you want. They offer a wide range of ingredients for building your own custom stir fry. There are veggies, seafood items, meats and various noodles to opt for. Then there is a wide range of sauces and oils to choose. They recommend 6 to 7 ladles, ( assorted ) for your stir fry for flavor. They vary in heat intensity. There are also seasonings such as 5 spice to add if you wish. We always enjoy the food at Mongos and if you like stir fry, you probably will, too.
I haven't been in years (moved to BC), but I've definitely been craving and wishing there was one in Victoria haha. I LOVE Mongo's. Ultimate satisfaction at the end of every meal. � Pleasant staff as well is the cherry on top. (I randomly got this suggestion to review on the side so I decided to lol. #cometovictoria)
This place is AMAZING! Awesome food, great quantity, fabulous quality, superb ambience and total worth for the price! Stop by on a cold day to eat some freshly grilled, hot food! Food heaven for vegetarians, vegans AND non vegetarians! Staff are super friendly and if you do get a chance, watch the fabulous grill master in action. Our host Josh and GM Zack were fabulous! Definitely stop by and have one of the best culinery experiences of your life!
Interesting experience. The flavour is based on what you put in your plate. Watching them throw the egg and rice bowl in the air is also exciting and a little bit nervous. Will come again.
Very delicious fresh meal. Kids can eat as they can but cant take it homeWill come back again.
I like this place. Its buffet style 😋 with really good things to choose from. Once you've loaded your bowl they will grill it for you. They also have all kinds of sauces to put on ,I would suggest put on at least 6 for very nice flavor. Not a breakfast place but for me I don't care its really good. The price has gone up some but what hasn't
All severs and staff had a great attitude creating a very positive experience. Food as always was terrific! Deven our sever did an excellent job constantly engaging with us ensuring all of our needs were taken care of. Management in light blue shirt training new team member at the grill using positive feedback promoting the culture that is prominent throughout the restaurant. Big thanks goes to the team today for providing a great dinner experience for me and my family.
I haven't been to mongos in a while, the service was great, the food was good and the portion sizes were great considering you couldn't go up and fill your own bowl. I was a little disappointed that they didn't have their birthday special or even offer anything in lou of the free entree. I would recommend it to friends and family.
I would prefer to give 3.7 if possible. First the good. Nice family atmosphere and the waitress are nice and friendly. At this time of the year (June 2020) they are just opening up again and so not many people inside. Food was prepared quickly. Quality of you plate will depend on what sauces you use mainly. I recommend using all 8 options for sauces. Not expensive. Kids’ meal is pretty cheap. Good quantity. The bad. Only one for me. I love protein and unfortunately the amount of chicken and shrimp I ordered was very low in quantity. Same condition for all the four menus we ordered. May go for a second time. But definitely worth trying out once.
