My better half and I have been going to Dal's for a few years and love it. Yes, there have been times where it has been busy and we have had to wait but the food is worth it. We always get a pizza and a pasta dish...even though we keep saying we should try something else but alas we always get pizza!!!! Good food, good prices....will be be back again!
We have lived in the area for over 20 years and I cannot believe We have never been to Dal's. The food and service was amazing! The chicken, ribs and salad with their house dressing will keep me coming back every week. Best crunchy chicken ever!
The food was ridiculously great!! We absolutely enjoyed our meal! It came as a great reccommendation from some friends that live in Transcona, and it was definitely worth the trip! Their pizza was amazing, perfect crust, great toppings! The burger, well, just look at it! It was delicious!! We will definitely be back here to have a meal!
One of my favourite restaurants in the city. Best pizza in my opinion. Their Greek Salad is phenomenal. They should sell the dressing by the bottle.
Service is always great.
Nice crispy chicken, moist and tasty. Beef dip is real roast beef and is generous in portion. Soup, coleslaw and fries were good and everything was fresh. Service was timely and courteous. Worth checking out.
Ordered a double Fatboy, garlic cheese toast and a caeser salad. Food was good! Above average Fatboy for sure. Salad was lacking. Overall very satisfied!
I’ve heard about Dal’s for several years and have even sampled their famous fried chicken (hand delivered to Ottawa).
That said - the opportunity to visit and try first-hand , was something I didn’t want to miss. It didn’t disappoint.
This unassuming place has wonderful service and the fried chicken is a must have! My friend also enjoyed his pickerel!
On my next trip to Winnipeg, I’ll pay another visit to Dal’s and try the pizza!
Great dining experience in this Transcona staple. We started with the red chili wings from the appetizer menu - perfectly done. We then had two 9 inch pizzas for our main course - Polynesian and Greek pizzas. Lots of toppings - really loved the amount of black olives on the Greek pizza. The bacon was thinly sliced to get a nice crisp topping on the Polynesian pizza. We have eaten at Dal's several times and always enjoyed the food. The servers are attentive and the ambiance is nice as well. We will definitely go again.
A Transcona treasure! Great service, great food and reasonably priced. I've been coming here since I was a kid and it's almost always a positive experience.
I strongly recommend trying their pizza or lasagna, you won't be disappointed.
Great food & great service. I don't live in Winnipeg anymore, but I always really enjoy this place when I visit. I'm also not a huge fan of thin crust pizza, but this place does it so well. I highly recommend that you try it if you haven't already been. They were also very good with my son who's 3 years old.
