After a brisk walk in the lap of nature a visit this cafe is quintessential. Been here many times, love the ambience. The menu is simple and inexpensive. The portion sizes and on the larger side and generally have sides with sandwiches. Service is good , place is generally clean, though to enjoy it more would recommend a weekday visit when it’s not very busy. Most of the time you are greeted by a hostess . Love the view and try to take the table next to one of the windows.
It’s good to see a lot of senior citizens enjoying this place, that’s the support small businesses need.
Went for breakfast for our anniversary and despite what seemed like a long lineup when we arrived, we were sat almost immediately. The servers were friendly, refilled water without interrupting, and overall a fantastic experience. I had the quesadilla with bacon which came with salsa and sour cream and it was amazing! I also ordered a cinnamon bun which while delicious, was sadly disappointing because for over $5 you only get half of the cinnamon bun. As the server had explained, it was cut in half and grilled, so either the menu or the server could have made it more clear and for that reason I wouldn't order it again for that price, which is the only reason I'm not giving full stars.
Located within the Assiniboine Park, the Park Cafe offers its visitors with plenty of options.
I opted for a tasty House Park Burger. I added cheese and bacon to compliment a well cooked burger. It was topped with lettuce, tomato and grilled onions, as well as, a spiced aioli. Mmm!
The hand cut fries were golden and crispy and well portioned.
While I didn’t eat the banana bread pudding, it looked wonderful and got a hearty thumbs up.
Its one of our favorites for my husband and I. I like this place not only because of its specious cafe with the wooden roof and nice view. It also has a good quality of food. It would be better if they work on their menu to offer more food diversity.

Have eaten in the restaurant and have loved it. Great place for brunch and lunch. Did the treats window and was surprised about how perfect the fries were. They tasted. They were perfect hot and crunchy without being burned. Usually homemade fries are burned but these were amazing. No got chocolate even on hot summer nights. Daughter wait it was Too salty.
Brilliant morning sunshine streaming through the expansive windows on this snowy Saturday here could only be augmented by this tasty and hearty breakfast with great company. I so enjoyed my breakfast quesadilla while the other 3 had the Park Breakfast.
Easter Monday breakfast. We had the Park breakfast which was really satisfying. Very peaceful surroundings and that morning the sun was streaming in the huge windows. Thank you Bethany for the good service. We were there early and it got busier as time went on but we didn't feel rushed. I thought the coffee was a little pricey but otherwise the cost was as expected. Will return.
