We have been coming here since it opened and last night we had the best meal anywhere EVER! Not only was every dish absolutely delicious, the timing of the service was perfect! We love the prix fixe dinner with meat option and thoroughly enjoyed every bite out on the patio. We had 3 types of salads, pizza, pasta, chicken, pork and beef. The meat was all so tender! For $32, it was a steal! I had to question why we hadn't been for so long but now we'll have to make a very regular visit because no restaurant has come close to the taste, service and value! Thanks for a wonderful meal!
My daughter and I were looking for a place to eat. Saw this place and what brought us in was the flowers and plants. What will bring us back is the great food and service. Highly recommended.
We have made Chaise Cafe our go to for a great dining experience and fun. The family style serving with unlimited seconds is like no other dining experience and sure to put even the hungriest into a pleasant food coma. The best part is you just have to sit back and be waited on. Marvin an excellent server, will ensure you have the best time possible, bringing the chefs specials of the day to you - appetizers, salads, pizza and pasta. The value is also better than best. Bottom line you need to try it. The food is fabulous and the experience exceptional. You won't be disappointed. For a small family gathering or a celebration with friends and family it is an experience to remember.
Amazing place to eat. Nice for a brunch. Came back to have the pizza again. We really enjoyed the set up of the brunch. Everything we were given tasted fantastic.
I love the food here! Everything’s tasty even the beets salad. It’s a place I would keep coming back to just cause I miss the taste & ambience. Caesar salad is fabulous I must say!
We ended up here randomly tonight, knowing nothing about the place, but admiring the front garden. What a fantastic find! We went with the Prix Fix menu that lets you try a huge and delicious range of all they make. Fresh ingredients, excellently prepared, good service, generous portions, nice decor, comfortable seating...everything was so good and it was excellent value for the money. There was nothing that I disliked. My personal favourite was the prosciutto, fig, walnut and arugula pizza. I swear I giggled while I ate it because it was so delicious! I don’t think it would be possible to walk away from the place hungry as you can order refills of anything at the end to enjoy it some more! I can hardly wait to try their brunch - and to introduce them to many of my friends!

Came here for dinner with some friends and took advantage of their $50 holiday menu. This is quite a bit more expensive than their regular $25 menu, but includes a few meat options, expresso bar and dessert. Chaise has a prix fixe menu that is d’hote style. You get served multiple courses but what is different is you get every option from every course and the expectation is that you share the options. This is almost like a prix fixe, d’hote, tasting menu style restaurant which is definitely unique! Also, unlike the other tasting menu style restaurants in Winnipeg, the wine list at Chaise is not quite as extensive, but what was on the list was very reasonably priced. We ordered a very nice bottle of Italian Chianti for $33!
Service at Chaise is pretty consistent. They are pretty low key and relaxed, so you cannot expect the level of promptness and mechanical routine that comes from a chain restaurant. The restaurant itself is a retrofitted house, which is weird as it feels like your dining in someone’s living room or basement but their decor is well done considering what they have to work with.
All courses were tasty with a good variety of flavour! The seasonal menu includes two salads, two appetizers, two pastas, two pizzas, and three meats, dessert and expresso bar. Not only is this place prix fixe, d’hote menu, Chaise kicks it up another level by offering free seconds on anything you happen to like and are still hungry. On our last visit, we doubled up on the risotto balls, carne Pizza, and poached shrimp!
From a value perspective, Chaise is unbeatable. In terms of food, everything was delicious, but not of the caliber as some of the other tasting menu restaurants in Winnipeg. I would also say they are on par with the other d’hote menu restaurants in the city, but the offer of free seconds really can’t be beat, so if your looking for a place to try, I highly recommend Chaise.
Chaise is great for brunch. Quick service. The sharing plates is such a lovely way to enjoy your food. It makes the time spent very intimate. Everything was correct and the food was hot when it arrived at the table. The portions were just enough. The waitress looking after us was friendly and very good. I like the pre-fixed menu idea. The place was packed and for good reason!
We've visited this place a few times over the last couple years. Love their family-style tasting menus - the appetizer menu is the BEST! $25 a person and you can try all the appys and pizza they have to offer. They have a blue-tine (fries with a blue cheese sauce) that's to die for! And their pizzas are delicious as well.
We came here last Saturday for dinner and had so much fun and were very impressed. We sat on the patio and had drinks first which were really good and then we all ordered off the prix fixe menu. We got the Caesar salad, beet salad and quinoa salads which were all amazing. The risotto balls and spinach dip as appetizers were delicious as well. We were all saying we were feeling full after that. Then they brought out two pastas and two types of pizza. I honestly have no complaints about any of the food other than a little bit of meat would be nice. I do see on the menu you can add 'entrees' for $7/person. I'm not sure if that's what you have to do in order to get some meat but even at that price it's reasonable considering it's all you can eat. We had a couple of servers and both were super friendly, quick and helpful. I can't wait to go back to try the breakfast. It's overall just a really fun and cozy place to go to with a group of friends or family.
Unique Atmosphere, Great food from presentation to taste. Fair prices. Service a little slow. I was a little disappointed to be charged full price on advertised Monday 50 percent off as I felt mislead.
Food was fantastic, family style worked great for our table of four. Would definitely recommend this as a place to try at least once. Will be back.

Really enjoyed the food! Loved how accommodating they are for people's allergies. Boyfriend has a dairy allergy and they made all his foods separate but got to eat the same things as me minus the dairy.

Great place to eat. Good food & cozy atmosphere. We had the $25 sampler option and the variety of food is awesome and it all tasted great. We loved the service and the waitress was very attentive. A little more friendliness goes a long way nowadays! And this place did exactly that. Thank you so much. Would definitely recommend

We booked for two then we phoned and changed it to four, no problem they said. We showed up with four, slight commotion as the booking was not changed. 15 min later they found a spot for us up stairs, a near semi private setting that was awesome. We did the prix fixe menu, and it did not disappoint. The selection and pairing were fantastic. The service was great. The hostess and chef timed the food perfectly. Our group are mature picky foodies who have have eaten internationally, and this place is a gem in St Boniface AND Winnipeg. It will be on my list again. Now get this, after you have finished your course you can ask for additional samples of whatever you liked in the service, if you like the braised tender loin, you can get another serving, if you liked the squash, you can get more squash....isn't that awesome! My only regret is that I have pictures to share. I will be back. Oh and they have this pasta in pumpkin sauce, totally to die for! 03Dec 2021 @ 7pm. To The Owner your staff saved the day! The restaurant is so good and cozy ,the food is delicious and very good design.The server (Tracy) was nice and kind and help us to choose best option from menu. I suggest if you are in Winnipeg try this restaurant or if you are visiting Winnipeg same as me, stop by here and will love it.😍
