I have loved place ever since I moved to Winnipeg...best Breakfasts and Lunch..great home style cooking that will satisfy the taste buds & tummy! A DEFINITE must stop for breakfast....the "Ronnie" omelette is the best!!
I have been visiting Tracy for over 30 years. Best Ukrainian cuisine out there. Generous delicious portions and engaging staff are the key components to making this little hidden gem one of my favorites when I visit Winnipeg.
The best place for perogies in Winnipeg (dont tell baba). This is one of my must stops when visiting Winnipeg. The Ruben sandwich is off the charts!
Breakfast was DELICIOUS once again! I can never finish my whole plate as the portions are huge! YUM YUM!! Thank you for filling our bellies with your great breakfast!!
food was amazing the twice ive been there and always served quick. when i come back from alberta i will be there again as many times as i can. great job to the staff!
After hearing the hype about this place from close friends and relatives, we finally gave Luda's a chance a few weeks ago - and the place did not disappoint.
The vibe was very cozy, while the staff was just as friendly and welcoming. We felt "at home" the second we walked in.
Ordered possibly the best pancakes we've had in a long, long time. I'm still dreaming about them to this day.
It is a cash only establishment, and I do wish they were open later, but finding the time (and paper) to have breakfast here is so worth it.
Over the last few months, I’ve been trying to visit different neighbourhoods in Winnipeg. When I do this I look up the restaurants in an area of town and then decide which ones I would most like to visit. When I was checking out North End restaurants, Luda’s Deli was one that got my attention. I had been there several years ago. My friend Travis Unger had worked as the wilderness camp coordinator for Inner City Youth Alive, a Evangelical Mennonite ministry. Inner City Youth Alive is located just across Salter from Luda’s. It’s also home to St. Aidan’s Christian School, which I’ve written about as part of a post on Share Our Strength.
North end staple. Food is delicious and the staff treat you like family. The only downside is there isn’t more seats, it can get busy especially around traditional meal times.
It's my first time here. I found the place on Zomato and noticed the high ratings. Its tiny and cozy atmosphere is welcoming. I was confused at first by the self serve coffee and water but liked the idea later.
I ordered a cheddar and mushroom omelette with pumpernickel toast and hash browns. The omelette was very good with the mushrooms cooked into the egg and then wrapped around the cheese. The hash browns were great as well. Coffee was passable but not great.
The service was very friendly and the atmosphere of home town was infectious. One guy who sat next to me came with window washing supplies and washed the windows for a plate of fries and gravy. Now that's down home!
I'll definitely be back to try the burgers and other sandwiches.
Best place in town hands down.Been here lots and never fails to impress.Staff are incredibly kind.Food is just like home cooking but better.Prices are very low and portions are huge. This time I had a clubhouse sandwich.Best club on this side of the Rio Grande is what another patron said to me and he was not kidding. So tasty and juicy.Cant wait to come back. Totally worth driving across town for.
It's a very cute cozy little place in the North end. Clean and tidy. Seating can be a little crowded. Fast and friendly service. Food was delicious.
Had the Reuben and french fries.
Generous meat on the reuben and it was piping hot. Enough fries in one serving for two people. And the fries were hot and fresh and delicious.

What a fun, enjoyable experience going to Luda’s deli in the north end. The food was very welcoming and the breakfast was hearty and filling. It was also fun to make new friends.
Great restaurant with friendly staff make you feel like your home.
Would definitely recommend for the soups if winter.
The Ultimate North End Breakfast! Perfect kielbasa - not fatty “garlic sausage”. Great potato hash and wonderful staff for the past 30 years that I know of! 3rd generation working there now. I hear the Ruben’s are great. Never had one…plan to try one some day, but breakfast is sooo good.
Went here for the first time today. What a hidden gem. Great portions. Terrys sandwich was delicious. Half portion of fries
was more then enough.
