I went to Roseland last night with a friend for dinner. I was impressed by how quickly we were taken care of. We ordered our drinks and when she came back, ordered our food. We ordered an appetizer off the Friday night special menu, Firecracker Shrimp, and off the main menu a pound of Spicy Thai Chili wings. The presentation on both was amazing. The shrimp were cooked perfectly and the sauce was impeccable. I had to mop up the sauce with the bread that came with it. The wings were cooked exactly how they should be. Lightly crisp skin and juicy inside. The Thai flavor was fantastic. A little kiick with some sweetness. It also came with celery and carrots and a side of house made coleslaw. Then we ordered our main dish. We both had the Rosie Burger with cheese and bacon and fries and coleslaw. The patty was exceptional. Made with 100 percent Angus Beef. When Bit into it the first flavor to hit my taste buds was the beef. It came with fresh lettuce, tomatoes and onions on a toasted bun. You can definitely tell that the New Chef and staff here take great pride in what they serve. What impressed me even more was that the Chef came out to our table and asked us how our meal was and if there was something that would make it better. We both said it was absolutely delicious the way it was. I will be definitely be telling friends and family that they have to try this place. Will be returning for sure. Great food Chef Eddie.
Beta Sigma Phi Windsor Ontario hosted our Founder’s Day event here tonight. The food was phenomenal! It surpassed all expectations!! Every special dietary need, allergy or preference was given full attention so everyone enjoyed a hardy and delicious meal. The pork was tender, the potatoes were amazing, the vegetable dishes and salads were far from ordinary and so tasty and fresh!!! The staff and chef were so kind, hard working and an absolute pleasure to work with!!! We will definitely consider hosting events here again! Thank you Roseland!! Julia

Awesome place to host a fundraiser! Went to the 10th annual Crime Stoppers tournament yesterday and had a blast. Dispite the bit of rain we had the staff worked hard to reduce the delay.
New chef is making great changes and delicious food in Roseland’s kitchen these days! Excellent penne and salad luncheon at today’s Senior Curler’s InClub Bonspiel...Thank-you!!
Loved our first round on the back 9 yesterday. My wife had never played much golf before yesterday and her first proper experience of a proper course was fabulous. The staff were lovely and most attentive and helpful. We hope to be back very soon again. As visitors from outside Canada and Windsor we can strongly recommend this course.
I love Roseland! Great greens and Service! Best price to golf! I go almost every day!
Great venue for gathering with friends and getting some curling in!
This is a great classic Donald Ross golf course. I was a junior member in the 70's and have always loved playing here. There's very little water, lots of trees, and easy to read greens. If you don't play well here you didn't hit the ball very well. What you see is what you get.
I heard the new course manager (who I believe does NOT have much of a golf background) wants to make changes. It doesn't need any. If any are made they better hire a GOLF ARCHITECT.
They had a great clubhouse in the the 70's but after the city bought the course they tore it down and built this ugly brick monstrosity lacking in any kind of golf clubhouse atmosphere. Although there are great panoramic views from the upper level, almost all seats are for a banquet. I think there might have been 3 tables arranged for foursomes, but the room probably seats 100. It's just not a golf clubhouse. And it's a shame because as a kid we went there every Saturday night and the dining room was always busy.
I hope they don't ruin this wonderful golf course the way they ruined the clubhouse.
