The Victoria Tavern is a quaint place to have a pint and mingle. There are many folk that have been going there regularly for many years, one of which has his own name plate at his spot of the bar, "Willy", God rest his soul. The entertainment is excellent with bands such as " The Soulminers" from Windsor that play classic blues, soul and rock favourites and "In The Pocket" from Detroit that play excellent soul, and R&B. The Vic is staffed with longtime staff that are quick to serve you a pint and know most of the patrons by first name. Helen Morris is a friend of mine and has been bar tending at the Vic for many years. The Vic has the feel of Cheers, where everybody knows your name. It has a comfortable at home kind of feeling and the food is hot and fresh.

I love going to the Victoria Tavern especially for Friday night karaoke with DJ Dawn Marie. Wonderful bar staff who are all very efficient and friendly! Highly recommend.
