4th time going to Rino's Kitchen Ale House. Brought a local friend from Windsor to join me. He was surprised that he has never heard of this place before. They do not really advertise anywhere and I consider this a little gem next to downtown Windsor. My friend Steve WILL be back. The beer selection is excellent and caters to many tastes. The food always feels fresh, homemade and delicious. The chef is not afraid of spices, salt and all. I always leave here satisfied. The setting is in an old house, heavy wood decor, pub like feel. Gotta love a place like this. Worth the visit.
Went here for Valentine's Day, staff was very friendly and in such a cool/cute location. Obviously when we went there was a set menu, which we expected.
Honestly just think I ordered the wrong thing, out of the very few options available I chose a sweet potato lasagna which was just "ok". My boyfriend wasn't crazily impressed with his meal either but it was definitely filling.
I would like to give it another chance and try it on a regular day with their normal menu.
So I went here a few days ago with a friends since we've been doing a "you gotta eat here" tour of Essex county. The ambience was delightful as it felt like having dinner at a friends home. The waitress was also very friendly and entertaining to talk to. If there were no other reasons, I would go back just for her
We had lamb shank, a burger and chips with sauces. The lamb was incredibly tender and almost melted in my mouth. The same was true with the burger. The chips were lacking any hint of flavour tho, and needed a lot of sauce in order to go down
Overall, the place is good and you should try it if you're looking for more expensive cuisines in Windsor.
