I am a very picky fish eater and god the food was amazing.
I tried almost everything with fish on their menu..
Best chowder ever , lobster roll, crab cakes and pan fried fish... I will be regular now whenever i am nearby.
If you are ever nearby, you should try this.. At least once in your lifetime.
People who dont eat fish , there is a chance you might change your mind after eating here..
My boyfriend said it was The best seafood chowder he has ever eaten. I had the fish cakes and beans. One the best as well.. the butterscotch pie was home made and delicious. Would recommend this place with a 10 out of 10
The place was packed when we dropped in. Service was still fast and friendly. The chowder is simply the best! Next time I’m on the east coast I plan to visit again.

The seafood platter was fantastic, especially the coconut shrimp. The seafood chowder is the best soup I have ever eaten! The carrot cake and gingerbread cake with brown sugar sauce is also fantastic. What an excellent restaurant and friendly owner and servers! We ate here twice on our trip and will definitely be back! :)
Best seafood chowder. Had the seafood chowder, the best ever, loads of seafood. A bowl is a meal in its self. Stopped while traveling in Baddeck area.

Lobster Roll hunting continues! Today I’ve landed on an absolute gem of a place! Delicious food coupled with a small boutique flower/garden shop!
The whole feel of this place was just screaming delicious food. I just knew it had to be good.
I obviously ordered a Lobster Roll, this time it was a cold Lobster Roll. It was heavenly! This is a top contender in my books. 10/10! Everything is made fresh.
I was treated like family and fed as one to!

We were lucky to stop at this place. We had probably the best seafood lobster 🦞 chowder on the trip. Thank you! The bread was also delicious. Enjoy!
Service was great . Wait staff were awesome . The best seafood chowder ever. The food was served hot and the seafood basket was awesome .
I usually like thick chowder so this wasn't the one for me but wanted to try it anyway for comparison. Would have liked for bigger shrimp, tastes like the little ones you'd get in a fried rice. 4 stars because I wish the biscuit was fresh or not so dense.
I have never had seafood chowder that delicious before!!! The size of the scallops and the full meat from the lobster claw was soo good also the staff were very friendly and genuinely happy to see all the customers, I would definitely make my way out of my trip to go there again!!👍
Best seafood chowder i ever had. I love seafood and especially chowder. Being a truck driver gave me the opportunity to try different chowders on the west coast as well as the east coast, both in Canada and the US. So far, this is the best I ever tasted. If you're ever in Cape Breton, schedule your trip around their opening hours because you absolutely have to try Charlene's place 😍.
The seafood chowder was exceptionally delicious. It's one of the best restaurants for seafood chowder. Don't miss it.
Amazing food! Seafood chowder is creamy, hearty and filling! I'm not a person that loves fish or things that taste too fishy, and I can't say enough about it. They have an amazing take on chicken salad that includes red onions and peppers. They're also conscious to celiacs and the chowder is gluten free too!
The staff are friendly and welcoming. I'm going to miss them when I return home to Ontario.
