• Shrimp & Avocado sandwich with Avocado $11.50: good amount of small shrimps, fresh avocado & alfalfa sprouts. I would season this more perhaps with some old bay seasoning, a little bland but not bad
• potato wedges: yum! Small serving on a side of your meal but its good that you wanna order an extra side
• Tuna salad: huge plate serving, you can share with a friend
• overall: pretty decent, nice ambiance, breakfast served all day!
I really love this place. Pretty much everything is homemade and they offer food that is unique to them and that you wouldn't find anywhere else. I honestly go for the pan fries, you just can't beat them. My go to breakfast is usually the eggs yuccadict. It's flavourful and well executed. I would say get there early as the place has limited seating and you might find yourself waiting.
I've been here a quite a few times, being a vegetarian it can be hard to find something on the menu for myself. The place is small, very small but that doesn't take away from the incredible food and exceptional service. Home made biscuits and home made soups this place is one in a million and don't come around very often, I highly recommend it.
Love this place!!! Stumbled upon this little secret recently and have been back almost every weekend now!! Great food, outstanding service, huge portions. You can tell they make everything from scratch, and I love how they have so many vegetarian options!! Keep in mind that this isn't a fast food place. You might have to wait 10 minutes for your food but it's 100% worth it. Give it a try!
Great People, Great Food. I've only been to the Yucca Tree for breakfast and my experiences every time have been great. The place is small and it can busy, especially on a weekend morning for breakfast/brunch, so expect a bit of a wait for your food. Bring a book and enjoy your coffee while you wait for your breakfast - remember, their kitchen is small and therefore only one person can cook at a time. This isn't Milestones where they have a full-sized commercial kitchen! The staff are amazing and Carla is such a wonderful server - you can be sure that you will be taken care of. The food is fresh and the prices are reasonable. A great place to eat on a sunny day in White Rock.
It's tiny and cramped and it takes a while to get your food, but it's worth it because the food is really good. My favourite breaky place in white rock.
Very decent lunch place......
Came here with the girlfriend for some lunch. It was a gorgeous day, super sunny, so we decided to eat on their tables outside. I ordered the chicken teriyaki burger with soup.
My meal was around 9 dollars and even though the burger was good it wasnt worth the price. The burger was dripping with teriyaki sauce and got all over my hands. Also the cup of soup they i ordered was garlic lentil soup. It was delicious but TINY, like honestly even a toddler would feel ripped off for the amount that they give you.
The food took a good 30 minutes to arrive even though it wasnt that busy. I have heard from some people that this place can be slow to bring out food.
Server was super friendly and checked on us to see if we liked the meal.
The goods: meals were delicious and fresh, staff is friendly and courteous.
The bads: small portions for the price, somewhat of a long wait.
Verdict: place is ok, needs improvements, but ill pass it. But with a c+
Best Burgers. I am a burger lover. Have tried them all but this is the best. Wide selection and great choices. All made fresh not pre-frozen patties. Very popular with locals but get there early if you want a seat because they are packed everyday for breakfast and lunch.
Service is a bit slow and the food takes a while but very worth the wait! I haven't had anything here I haven't LOVED
