If my boyfriend and I want great food that never disappoints we make the teck from Maple Ridge to Charlie's it's hands down our favorite place to eat and the fact that they have gluten free options is even better as I have celiac and finding places that have a clear menu for gluten free and is safe and understanding and doesn't judge me for something I can't control. Safe to say Charlie's is my happy place. Ohhh and the view isn't half bad either 😉 Go see for yourself
GREAT first experience! Ordered the GO TO chicken tenders with honey mustard and bbq sauce.
Along with that, was the Chicken Gourmet Burger. Taste was phenomenal but a bit pricy. That being said, everything on the pier promenade is a but pricier than usual. Would love to visit again!
Went there to try the white rock dine out special. Really awesome atmosphere and very friendly staff had the soup of the day, blackened chicken and the triple chocolate brownie. The food was really good the service was prompt would definitely go back for appetizers and a beer some night the view was spectacular.
The place has always had a certain charm so , in my mind, it's a good place to have drink and finger food. What kept me away over the years was the service. We decided to give it another try recently. The ambiance was quite welcoming. I had a burger and the kids had chicken fingers with fries. It was well prepared and served quickly. Nothing fancy but well executed. I've been back a couple of times since and the results were the same.

Trendy place on the strip. The decor is eclectic and fun to look at. We ordered the classic fish & chips. It was some pretty good fish!! Lots of fries. Drinks were big too. We had kids with us & they were quick with our food. It was hot out the day we went so the place was pretty stuffy inside.
A nice, cute place to just relax and look at the ocean. Good service and their ahi tuna poke appetizer was delicious ! Would definitely come back here .
Brent is the best bartender and the cash cow of Charlie's. Excellent service, great prices, and that man is a chef behind a bar. Meanest cocktail in town! Don't lose this man!
I like the ambience of this place, they have a lot of cool decorations, nice looking booths, and a pretty nice patio. The food I had was delicious and the service was very attentive too.
I don't like fish, but sometimes I'll have fish and chips because anything tastes pretty good when it's deep fried. I was convinced by Gulosus to get the fish and chips and was really happy with the decision. It was definitely the best fish and chips I've ever had. And the Granville Island pint I had tasted very fresh.

What a great place!!!! We sat at the bar and ordered a Ceasar wow that was awesome loaded with celery so crisp fresh, beans, pickled onion, hot pepper and a huge olive was so good!!! The bartender was GREAT......
The decor was funky, every table packed and tons of staff. The amount of food that came out of the kitchen was incredible and you will want to try every dish..... Mmmmmmm the fish and chips looked to die for and we wanted to try them but the portions are massive and we were full.
Food is amazing we had the flat bread BY FAR BEST WE HAVE EVER HAD! And we ordered the dry ribs wow huge portion 9$ and amazing flavor the bartender even offered hot sauce we said we would love it and he brought us 2 different kinds.... Over and above service!!!
Give this place a try you will NOT be disappointed! We will be back that's for sure.... We went a cpl years ago and had pizza and I remember that was to die for!!!!!
The owner prim (think that was his name) is GREAT such awesome service and great person to talk to.... Thx for those AWESOME chips can't wait to see them on the menu!!! Keep up the awesome work guys! Visit Again and Again. Charlie's improves more and more every time I go there. The quality of the food and the atmosphere is by far the best on the beach for the price. I live in South Surrey and go to the beach for dinner once a week. With the best deck, friendly staff and the best view of the ocean in White Rock with an eclectic decor Charlie's is my favorite stop.
