This place is easily going to be my go-to place for fresh food, great drinks, friendly service and a great atmosphere. Had their curry chicken. Good flavor and a pint of Guinness and creme brûlée.
Ordered the lunch special (grilled caramelized onions and gruyere?) . Everything was super tasty (get curry dip for your fries!) Can't wait to go back for dinner!
This place was really awesome. We went in expecting typical pub fare and atmosphere but were pleasantly surprised that it was much better than anticipated. Upscale food at a great price and our server, Crystal, was super informative and nice. My GF is gluten free and there were several delicious options for her, coupled with Crystal's knowledge, which was so refreshing. Highly recommend this place.
We had a fantastic meal at the Pogue tonight! Drove from Chatham to try it out and I wasnât disappointed. The pulled pork was delicious. My table had seafood chowder which earned rave reviews. We also ordered perch dinners and one of us had wild boar. Worth the drive for a nice meal in a cute restaurant. Quiet, intimate and the right atmosphere. Music not so loud that one canât hear oneâs companions talking. Will definitely be back!
Great out of the way gem. Had the perch. Shade overdone but still tender. The fries with truffle sauce were stellar. Service was friendly and servers were attentive. Dinner was a little slow coming out but well worth the wait. Will definately return.
We visited the Pub today for the first time. Heard about it through a friend. Loved the atmosphere and the decor. Truly an Irish Pub. Food and beverages were excellent ad was the service. The owner took the time to chat with us and give us some history about the Pub. Truly a Gem. Worth a visit. Would definately return.
Goat cheese balls are excellent.
