A genuine diner experience! We’d heard a lot about the Eye Opener Diner and it didn’t disappoint. Even though we visited on a Sunday morning we lucked out (there’s often a wait at the door) and got a booth right away. Charming diner decor including red leather booths and eat-at counter. Our friendly server had no issues with accommodating low-carb menu request (no hashbrowns or toast) and while we waited, coffee refills were quick and plentiful. We each ordered the Winnipegger omelet with kubassa, grilled onions and cheddar, adding a side of bacon and hollandaise (so good we were tempted to lick our plates!). Will definitely return soon!
