Best place on the westside for brunch. Fantastic homemade food and very friendly staff.
Awesome food, great prices and the best staff!
Charming diner buzzing with people not only eating breakfast, but spending time together. Generous portions and friendly service. I had the Pepper Pot which has become my favorite breakfast. I didn’t take a picture because I was too busy eating it! My guest had 2 pancakes with a side of bacon. The pancakes were thick and fluffy. They took up the whole plate and looked bigger then my head! The bacon was thick and cooked perfectly. Will definitely return.
It’s been a while but I really enjoyed this little diner. The breakfast I ordered was a simple ham and cheese omelette with hash browns. The potatoes were perfect, crisp on the outside and soft and fluffy in the middle. The omelette was bright yellow and twice the size I expected. Very worth the wait at the door.
It has been a while since I have been here. Good old family food, comfort food. No matter the dish you order it is good. But like I said it has been a while
If it's your first time here grab a table and hope that a Waiter see you. Not a fan of this policy.
Took about 30 mins from ordering to receiving our food.
Scrabbled eggs where good, bacon was nice and crispy. sausages were yummy. Toast was nothing special. Hash browns how ever...
Please learn how to cook hash browns!
Flavourless bland parboiled potatoes lightly browned.
Your hash browns should be cooked until golden brown all over and PLEASE add salt and pepper while you cook your hash browns!
This past Sunday my Beau took me to Pepperpot in West Kelowna . It wad my first time, his 15th. The outside of this hole-in-the-wall was deceiving as the inside was larger than presumed, bustling with tables filled with happy families or overstocked with jabbering friends.
The service, warm and welcoming though the waitress was obviously overtaxed with tables but the decor jammed with slogan art and nostalgia kept me entertained while I waited for service.
The food was well worth the wait. I ordered the deluxe burger with chips and gravy. The meat was fresh and the chips were the real thing: fresh cut, hot - just out of the deep fryer. The gravy was the usual, in a wee cup growing a skin, what one expects and that was fine.
My Honey ordered the Truckers breakfast. The eggs were a brilliant orange--good quality, not a pukey pale yellow. Real pan fries. Over toasted his English muffin as requested, sausage, bacon - he was soon lost in hog heaven.
To my right there was a large table which had a loud toddler rejoicing in testing out his shouting skills and his aim whilst he flung food. His family seemed equally charmed which I found a tad annoying but it is that sort of place where all are welcome, I just felt sorry for the server who had to clean it up.
Summary: Good, honest food. Nothing spell binding but like I said: good and you won't feel stiffed when you get the bill. I will be going back
Always an amazing experience and all the staff are super friendly!! Deb the owner has watched my son grow up from the time he was a newborn and always remembers his name and even puts up pictures he's drawn for her every year!! It's a must if you haven't been
Stopped in here for brunch while vacationing in Kelowna. The food is DELICIOUS, perfect North American brunch food, and the staff were very friendly. Had the cream cheese stuffed french toast OMG!!
Quick easy and cheap breakfast. I generally think breakfast sausages taste like cat meat, but the ones served here were quite good. Medium poached eggs were cooked a little too long but I ate them anyway. No major complaints. Warm environment amd friendly service. Wanted to try the Cardiologist Burger (grilled cheese for buns), but it was too early in the day... next time!
Full tummy. If you want to get a good breakfast in West Kelowna for a reasonable price, this is the place! If you can get a seat. Its usually pretty busy.
Lunch is pretty good too. Nice home cooked type food.
Great Food!. Wonderful breakfast! Best place to go, if you want homemade-like-mama-makes breakfast! Love the Eggs Benny! It gets busy fast, but worth the wait, if you have to wait! I recommend this place, the best breakfast in town for sure!
Superb breakfast lunch cafe. Very clean, great staff, well run, quality breakfast food, quality bacon, great tasting coffee, price is worth it. West Kelowna breakfast gem!
This is hands down the best diner in all of Kelowna I come here at least 3 times a week for breakfast or lunch. Every time it hits the spot. Highly highly recommend! The decor is also very cool.
I just ate at the Pepper Pot for the first time this morning and man, have I ever been missing out!! This is definitely going to become a regular place for breakfast. The food is amazing, portioned well and VERY affordable. I highly recommend to anyone looking for some yummy food in a comforting atmosphere.
Delicious food and good service from this small local restaurant. It can get busy on weekends but worth the wait for a table.
Generous portions.
Love little places like this! Great food, fast and friendly service. We were served the first alcohol drinks. Very exciting :)
Great service, great food, and great prices. I highly recommend Pepper Pot Grill as a restaurant. I've only tried their breakfast so far which is always great, and while you wait for your food, you can read from a wall full of funny signs. This little restaurant has a huge personality, and if you are looking for a local mom and pop restaurant, this is the place for you.
Two fabulous experiences at the Pepper Pot this past weekend. Breakfast on Saturday, Eggs Benedict, perfectly cooked and lunch on Sunday the best Reuben sandwich I’ve ever had. New owners doing a great job, service was quick, friendly and professional!
We arrived after hearing about the French toast. It was busy and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. We were seated within 5 minutes of arriving, the renaissance retro 1950s decorations were amazing and nostalgic. The food was even better and the French toast cream filling was a smash favourite. I ordered lunch to go as well. A great place with excellent pricing and atmosphere.
Service was actually the worst part of our visit. Good enough host but server only spoke the bare minimum to us probably the least pleasant waitress I've had in a while.
The place was really nice and interesting to see/read all the signage giving it a real nice roadside diner feel.
The food was really what I enjoyed, I had the crab cake Bennie, the wife had the Pepperpot hash and kids, the waffle with strawberry and whip. The crab cakes were tasty, the hash was flavourful and the waffle had a hint of cinnamon I believe. She wasn't impressed, but I thought it was rather good tasting.
What a great meal and friendly attentive staff. Maria was my server and I have nothing but compliments; both from a customer point of view and as someone who has been a bartender in the service industry for 16 years. Gary answered the phone when I called there after leaving my portable charger behind. He made sure it was put aside for me. The atmosphere here is so great. Everything from nice furniture to comfortable temperature. The cherry on top was the little candy dispensers at the front door. Literally yesterday I was telling someone if I ever get engaged in my life it will be with a ring from one of those machines (which were more common than a pay phone in the 90’s). lol it all came together for a really nice day. Probably one of the best days since moving in April. I WILL be back!!
