We stopped here on our way back from Peggy's Cove, the service was excellent, (she was very friendly and helpful)!!! The food was amazing, my husband had lobster and I had fish and chips, best seafood I've ever had! I would recommend this place to everyone that wants a great experience in seafood👍👍👍👍👍
Shaw's Landing is a hidden gem of a restaurant. Just 5 minutes from Peggy's Cove they have excellent food, great service and wonderful views. Highly recommended!
We loved everything we tried here! We wanted to try the Digby scallops, fresh caught mussels, chowder and lobster roll. We arrived right as they opened (and so did many others). Some of the best seafood. They didn't do too much to mask the flavour so you could really enjoy the freshness of it. It was rainy so we sat inside but it's situated in a beautiful place by the water too.
We drove two hours to try Shaw’s Landing and get our seafood fix on! We tried the Shaw lobster roll, lobster grilled cheese, whole lobster, scallops, mussels and oysters with salads and took home the seafood chowder for dinner later. The food was all fresh delicious and to die for. The chowder and lobster roll were my personal faves but everything was perfect. The homemade buns are worth noting and the owners are super nice! We’ll definitely be back when we return to Nova Scotia
Location is excellent, on the ocean, parking is free and there is plenty of free parking.
Decorations and layout, I liked the Decorations is about the nature of the area.
I liked the seating in side and on the deck, seats outside need upgrades.
Services is friendly and knowledgeable about the plates
Menue is limited and don't have varieties

Cute little spot to stop if you’re in the area. Fish and chips for $15 and the fish was 2 huge pieces that was perfectly battered. The spot is right on the water so water views to enjoy while on the patio. Our server was fantastic.

We made two trips in three days, we had to try as much different seafood as we could.
We had fish and chips, mussels, scallops, the seafood mmmmmmm chowder, shrimp and the lobster roll.

Delicious food, good happy service! The fish cakes were absolutely delicious and freshly made and my partner had what he claims to be the best seafood chowder. Would come back!
Absolutely a gem. The fish pieces were HUGE, and fried to perfection. They're probably the best fish and chips I've ever had. Service was also amazing. Well worth the trip if you're visiting Peggy's Cove!!
This is my second time visiting Halifax and also second time here. I love the service here. All the staffs are friendly and the lobster is to die for. It is super fresh and 1.5L is just enough!
