A lovely country drive or a visit to nearby K&K Liquidation store always results in a stop at this gem of a restaurant and gift shop! Their special home cooked meals are filling, but it’s their delectable pies that make it worth the drive! Their daily specials include a drink and dessert, so wear stretchy pants as even the small dinner is plentiful. The gift shop has unique items, including an assortment of kitchen goods, and super souvenirs for tourists. Check hours on website as close at 2 pm most days, and closed Sundays.
Wow. One of the best breakfasts I've had in a long time. And I've had many good ones. Sausage was definitely the best, ever, bacon lovely and crisp, ham thicker cut and excellent. My wife had the schnitzel special with some of the most awesome mashed potatoes. Very well setup for the mobility challenged. Outstanding service too. Obviously I've become an instant fan. Talked to the folks on both sides of us with similar kudos. Highly recommended!
Excellent food and service! Went at lunch on a Friday at noon. We only had to wait five minutes for a table even though there were two couples ahead of us. Got the small ribs special for 15.99. This included bread, ribs. , carrots, potato of choice including twice baked, a drink and dessert! And the portions were quite large, especially the pie!
Really nice place, great attention from all the staff. It tends to very busy but it's worth waiting to be seated. Menu has plenty of options and everything I've had so far is very tasty. The gift shop is also a nice experience.
Hands down one of the best Breakfast restaurants in the area. Both in the price and the quality of food.
Pre having Kids the wife and I went here almost every Saturday morning. And now we take the kids with us occasionally or just wait until they are spending the weekend at where the kids are at Grandma's.
This is a popular place so be prepared to wait in line depending on the the time you arrive. Not sure if the the timing's are still the same but we always found that if you are there before 8 am you are fine never a wait the it seems like on the hours there is a wait so if you are there are 8,9,10 or 11 am you will wait. But if you were to arrive on the half hours or 20 to the hour you almost never wait.
Anyways it a great place can't wait to go back.
Great little restaurant. Food was piping hot and made from scratch. Service was good. Parking across the street. Would recommend stopping by if you're in the Wellesley area. Check the opening hours first though before making the drive.
Friendly staff, a very pleasant atmosphere, and tasty food at a good price. Nice place to stop in and grab a bite to eat.
