Sakura Sushi, Grocery, And Japanese Restaurant - Victoria - Photo album

Checked out Sakura Japanese Cuisine Sushi Bar & Grocery to grab some sushi grade salmon and other Japanese items. Decent selection of tea, sauces, rice, noodles, snacks, etc. Didn’t try any of their food items but the “to go” selection had bentos, katsu, tempura, kara’age and sushi rolls. Bought ~
Great little place that offers fresh made sushi, rice bowls and bento boxes. I've had their ramen, it was flavourful with excellent noodles. Their new new curry bowl items are really tasty and generously portioned. The Karaage Don is also an excellent lunch option. They're definitely under new man
I never been here before but I ordered a sushi tray delivered to me today. It was great that I was able to build my own tray and only pick what I want. The waiting time was reasonable and food were packed nicely. Sushi are good, a bit too much vinegar in the rice I think. I would come to the store o
Very good place to have sushi. Service is very attentive and they are happy to accommodate your wishes. It's a simple place but very clean and the quality of sushi and complexity are rather high. Prices are moderate. The place contains the restaurant and a small store.
Got ready to go sushi here many times. Always good. 5stars also because your replies to 1star reviews are hilarious.
Really nice and friendly staff and great food. I love this place
They have fresh affordable sushi to go and it’s delicious! Service is so nice and makes you feel welcomed. 10/10 will be returning soon :)
Great little shop & restaurant for all your Japanese cuisine needs! The grocery section has many ingredients and snacks/desserts that are hard to find in other grocery stores. The restaurant prepares great food fairly quickly and there's even a section of fresh sushi with so many options to choose f
I moved to Victoria last year for school and everything was completely new to me. I had spent the previous four years in Vancouver, a city where I was familiar and comfortable. At first, Victoria felt like a "desert" to me. I was lonely and sad, and I constantly went back to Vancouver every weekend.
T’was a most stunning Saturday afternoon. I mix a few litres of fuel in my 2006 Yamaha Zuma and point it south down Quadra in search of the elusive Sakura. Upon entering this fine establishment I was greeted by the friendliest of cashiers, who promptly handed me a menu and gave me time to carefully
Great service, super friendly & quick. The sushi is very tasty and freshly made to order. Picked up a couple items for my kitchen at home and all at a reasonable price.
Good quality, traditional vibe and good price! I go there every day for lunch:) and the staff are always friendly. Thank you Sakura
Not only a really good selection of premade sushi and take out dishes, but also fresh sushi made to order. Their grocery section has great Japanese food items to take home and cook as well as frozen items like different types of fish. All in all, a great place.
Super friendly staff, Great selection for Japanese cooking condiments. It is so convenient to have the market and specialized Japanese grocery store in core downtown Victoria. They got covered all the Japanese cooking staples and more. Their weekly rotation Onigiri specials are always fun too!
I ordered a Fried chicken curry rice, it was different to the curry taste that I used eat, but it was delicious. They cooked it after I placed my order. The chicken was juice and rice quality very good, only the curry taste was not my favourite, but I think some people may love this style of curry,
Great place for high quality sushi. Sadly you can't dine in and the place really is a grocery store which is fine.
