During the years that I grew up here on the northshore, this place had changed owners a few times, even my friend's parents owned it one time during my highschool years. This location is located next to Jenny Craig. It's always consistently busy and now that the population grew in North van it's getting busier. It's a prime location, plenty of parking, and their European style coffees are indeed stronger. I use to study here all the time, and downed alot of cappuccinos and lattes.
Big Parisian-style coffee. I drank a medium cappucino from Roastmastir's and it reminded me of Paris, only stronger. The main French style of cappucino seems to be big, brothy (in a coffee sort of way) with a lot of milk. Roastmistir's had all that, but more of a dark punch to the flavour. Man was there a lot of it for $3.99. I almost never have a hard time finishing any size coffee, but the intensity of the taste made Roastmastirs' cappucino "drink bigger than it was." Yeah, I downed it all.
The barista who fixed my strong one recommended the vegan wrap because I didn't want sweets. (I had just stopped at Harmony Donut up Lonsdale.) It was OK with black beans, rice and salsa. What I liked best about it was that she heated it in a sandwich press, not the microwave. It's not Roastmicro's, after all.
Went there for a cup of coffee latte and the nice gesture of the owner and a cosy vibe made me to stay there and order some sweets as well. Latte was large and delicious plus the cakes and sweets were also freshly made and tasty. Recommend!
Excellent coffee shop , with variety of products and very family oriented cozy ambience .

Roastmastir's is the ideal cafe for excellent coffee (many different brands), sumptuous snacks and delicious meals. The owners are extremely warm and friendly. The ambience quiet and tasteful. Abundant parking close by. Very highly recommended. Barrie, a frequent customer.

Visiting North Van and asked the cashier in the drugstore to recommend a good neighbourhood coffee shop! Excellent variety, superb coffee! Lots of comfy seating.
Absolutely wonderful coffee & people! We also grabbed a bag of their fresh organic beans and really looking forward to sipping our morning coffees at home over the next week.

Amazing Cafe place, staff is always friendly and helpful. They have a variety of coffee beans from around the world which is impressive and the best part is that they don't overpriced beans from where they are from. Lots of food options from paninis to muffins. Lattes are really good, not too sweet not too bitter just perfect!!!
The best homebaked cakes I've ever tried. The Persian omelette is really delicious.They roast their own coffee dont forget to buy some fresh beans. You can feel the difference!
Quick service and not busy mid morning. Seating inside and out to watch life on Lonsdale Av. Low level music added to a relaxed atmosphere.
