I am from the east coast, visiting family here in Victoria for the holidays. Beacon Hill Park is a wonderful place to go for a nice walk, lots of gorgeous scenery and views. Love the feeling of being in the middle of nature in the city. Lots of peacocks around. The trails are in great condition, you can choose to stay on asphalt walkways or venture onto groomed paths. Even though it was late December, some plants are already in bloom. I only saw a small park of the park, will definitely visit again.
Absolutely 💯 amazing public park. The public gardens are beautiful and extensive. There are lots of water features, benches to enjoy the views. Trails all throughout the park that are wheelchair 🦽 accessible. There is plenty of parking available and public washrooms. There is so much to see that you have to come. My wife and I love this park. There are things for all ages to enjoy here. There is a nice petting zoo here also. Whenever we are in the Victoria area we always make time for this park.
Very ginormous park in Victoria good spot for a walk and feel the nature is around you. You might encounter peacock sometimes they walking freely like their own playground. Lots of trees and plants here even summer you not feeling very hot because there is lots of shades. The path is connected to the oceanfront also to the mile 0 monument of the trans Canada highway. Inside the park also a mini zoo for kids and animal lovers with goats, hams, pigs, you can pet and play with.
