Empire is an excellent choice for donuts in the city! There are always so many different and unique flavors every day. You are definitely getting what your money is worth here, I haven't seen a small donut yet. The staff are really nice too. They close once they sell out, so don't wait too long.

Large selection of special flavors here. I enjoy the earl grey flavor. They have delicious quality coffee, no cream, milk or sugar needed. Nice robust flavor of the coffee is a great complement to the donuts.
Tasty vegan donuts! Not mind blowing, but worth getting, even if they're a little expensive. When there's a vegan donut option: you go for it!! There were two flavours for vegans when I visited. Retro style spot.
The donuts are pretty tatsy. I didn't pick them up myself, they were gifted to me. The falvours were unique, such as lemon coconut and Chocolate Sour Cream. Far cry from Timmies boring tastes. We tried donuts from here and they were excellent! I had an old fashioned glazed as well as a “Homer” donut. Both were great! I look forward to trying others from them.

Easily some of the best donuts I've ever had. They taste like small town bakery donuts but taken up 1000 notches. Dough is delicious, toppings just as good. Must stop.
Okay so I haven't been to this location but I've bought Empire donuts from Rootcellar many times and am always so impressed. Every flavor I've tried is heavenly. One day I'll make it to the actual store but in the meantime I'm glad I can find them at the cafe in Rootcellar!

Solid donuts, good coffee. Flavours are always changing. I find the cake donuts to be pretty big but the taste is always good.
