Totally five stars. The food is amazing, the staff are wonderful, you can tell it's a good place when you walk in the door. It's a great place to buy plants for your garden as well.
I am a daily customer here and sometimes twice a day. Always amazing food, drinks and customer service. Fantastic for personal and business meetings too. Beautiful setting to sit outside
Such a great place! The best deli style cafe I’ve been to! I’ve been several times and have tried multiple deli salads, cookies, coffee, snacks, etc- and everything is fabulous! Tastes super fresh, and very wholesome and healthy as well, sort of the “homemade” flavour and vibe. I really appreciate the healthy options, like gf or vegetarian and lots of veggies. The salads are my favourite- I want to try them all! The prices are good as well, totally affordable for such good quality! Thanks so much for the excellent work.
I’ve been working in Oak Bay for the past two weeks and coming here a lot. I don’t write a lot of reviews, but I felt compelled to let the internet know that every single thing I’ve had here is a win. Every lunch special, every baked good, every deli item, it’s all DELICIOUS. Their staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and it’s all set in a plant nursery. This place is fantastic. My absolute favourite item is their pecan butter tart. Oh my gaaaaawwwddd. Try it here.
The best date square you will ever have, and an amazing selections of some of the most flavourful salads, warm sandwiches, all in a neighbourhood treasure, or the locals come and go all day with their takeout orders. It’s also a garden centre if you can believe it. it is one of the more improbable places you will find. There is little to no indoor dining and only a few outdoor tables, but it is on some beautiful, walking routes along the strait of Juan de Fuca or up through Oak Bay.
Little coffee shop tucked away. Lots of options for food and small selection for grocery. Variety of savory and sweet pastries. Tasty coffee. Cute patio surrounded by plants.
I ordered an 8 oz cappuccino and it was prepared perfectly. Where do you even find foam like that nowadays? Demitasse, that's where. Croissant was good too.
I always love coming here and drinking coffee among the plants! One of my favourite places in Oak Bay to visit. I had a cinnamon bun and iced latte, both were delicious and I would absolutely order again!
demitasse is one of my absolute favorite places in victoria! it's a lovely little café tucked away in a quiet oak bay neighborhood. the food and drinks are excellent, i find the pastries nice and big, and i love their pizza. the staff are all very kind, and it's just such a nice environment there. i've brought all of my friends here!
I recently began work in Oak Bay and Demitasse was recommended by a coworker. The atmosphere in the cafe and garden is beautiful— it’s like a quaint lunch in Paris! Highly recommend.
Is long time ago. When I stayed Language School , KGIC ,Victoria. I like visiting this Demitasse coffee shop. Here have beautiful Graden and Fresh air. I also like this area. Recommend cappuccino coffee and dessert!!!!! Delicious. 24Nov, 2014. ELin.
This is quite the special location well frequented by locals. My favourite is the carrot cake which is moist and tasty just like my Mom used to make. Also the guiness chocolate cake which has a heavier consistency but tasty. I do not really get by these two items but there is lots to pick from in other items to eat and coffees to be made. I will check back in with other details next time I visit.
