Glenrosa Farm, the owner and the chef are a delight. The pizza was so delicious and the farm fresh eggs were the best we've had in a long time. When you call ask for fresh eggs - they are worth it.

My wife and I shared our 5th Anniversary dinner here. It was the perfect choice for a nice romantic meal. It was a beautiful evening and our table overlooked the valley below. The food was delicious and very unique and mostly locally sourced. The serving staff were very helpful and attentive. No complaints at all. Well worth a visit again for another special occasion.

Glenrosa Farm Restaurant is such a warm and inviting place that you'd be forgiven for not noticing what a fine culinary experience it also offers. **Update: August 2022**. We were incredibly impressed at how delicious the pizzas and salads in the new slimmed-down menu are. We tried the vegan pizza with cashew cheese. It was -- no exaggeration -- better than any pizza we ate in Italy on a recent trip there. The eggplant and tomato salad with croutons was also just amazing. We sat at the outdoor picnic tables on this beautiful property and enjoyed the early evening tranquility. While we miss being able to eat in the restaurant, we understand that changes were necessary. The pizza offerings live up to the Glenrosa tradition of extraordinary food in a rustic setting. [From 2020:] Brunch has become its regular star offering, but don't forget about its occasional yet spectacular dinner events. We luckily happened to check the website and found that "pizza night" was about to happen. We were so glad to have been one of the five occupied tables on a Saturday night. Delicious homemade crusts, including available gluten-free ones (also made in house), were the basis of these delightfully conceived pies, which featured local ingredients, house made sausages, amazing cheeses and local mushrooms. Appetizer small plates were a treat: roasted eggplant, potato and leek soup, ravioli -- all beautifully plated, each a wonder of balance, flavour and nuance. Desserts were not to be missed, especially the date pudding. All of this was presented with such simple grace that we left feeling revived as well as nourished. Owner Jane also has an extraordinary way with children and puzzles. A true delight all around.

This is one of Metchosin’s best kept secrets. The Glenrosa Farm Restaurant is a beautiful renovated farm house that was first built in 1858 (before Canada). It overlooks a beautiful valley and bay nearby. The location is ideal for small weddings, and they even do barn dances! The food is incredible too. A great place to stop by for afternoon tea if you’re up for an adventure. Definitely looking forward to our next visit!

A beautiful old home with an amazing view, Kind and courteous waitstaff and Top notch food. I highly recommend Glenrosa's take on a charcuterie board filled with local delicacies for a real taste of the island. Be sure to stay for desert as their take on frozen yogurt beats out some of the finest deserts I've had in this city, topped with lemon crystals, heavy cream, white chocolate crumbles and a cake base. Affordable as well, especially considering the quality of food.

Amazing location with beautiful valley views. The owner was so accommodating with getting us pizza even though we didn't realize to place an order ahead of time, since we found it just off of the side of the galloping goose rail trail. At the time (June 2023) they were only doing take out. The quality of the pizza was top notch with locally sourced ingredients.

Take out only and only on Fri and Sat from 4 -7pm. They do have popup take out at various locations around Metchosin at times as well. Amazing Neapolitan crust pizzas with locally grown ingredients and interesting combinations. Not your 'average typical pizzas (which you can get at My Chosen pizza down the street and are also very good if looking for a more classic pizza). Drive up, pickup window so you don't even have to get out of your car. A gem!
