Cafe Mexico - Victoria - Photo album

This was my first visit to Cafe Mexico. The location and space itself are absolutely amazing and lots of fun. The bar is gorgeous, looking, and looks very well stocked. The menu is a very nice size, and the food that we did order was excellent and well portioned. Everything tasted very good and was
A nice place with tasty mexican food. I don't know how "authentic" mexican food can be out of Mexico but this place really tries. The place has nice furniture but atmosphere in general is fine, the only thing I thought wasn't good is the music. In general is a good place to have a drink and eat tast
I dropped by to order take out after their cut off time for take out orders. Ari was very accommodating, helped me with choosing the dishes and the spicy sauces. Food was amazing, and it was only surpassed by the staff's service. Next time, I will try to dine in.
Best tacos I’ve ever had!! I got the tacos Mazatlan twice, they did not disappoint. Large, flavorful prawns in a tortilla with melted on cheese … yum🙌🙌🙌
Very good! The food was excellent, the chips were hot, and the salsa was tasty. The service was okay, but they were trying so I won’t fault them for that. I would come back again.
I went to cafe Mexico, they have authentic mexican food (I'm Mexican). Food is good, our server was good, she checked on us frequently and also gave us space. The best part is that they have Micheladas ❤️
Very satisfactory experience here. Had delicious Mexican food, the atmosphere and environment is very pleasing and homely. The customer service is top notch. I got the Tacos Mexicanos for myself and it tasted amazing with the habanero house made hot sauce that was given. Very positive experience and
Very impressive Mexican restaurant. Delicious cocktails, margaritas of course, and very tasty food. Thankfully the chef allowed me to try three tacos; beef, chicken and pork. All very tasty though an extra tortilla would have great to finish off the decent portions. Churros were fresh and cooked
Great authentic Mexican cuisine. And the staff are really friendly. I got into a long conversation with the manager about how they make pulled pork. He even shared the recipe so I could try to replicate it at home -- and recommended a pretty fantastic cookbook. A great place.
Had a really enjoyable meal before going to the Barbie Movie.... Don't judge me. 😎 The food was Hot, it was tasty, came with good speed and at a decent price. The burrito was loaded with meat which many places seem to think they can scrimp on. The service was lame though. I see many young waiting st
We enjoy the happy hour tacos - their fillings are generous and they disappear way too quickly, but that’s only because they’re excellent!! The Queso fundido is one of our favourite things to get as well - full of flavour and very filling. Whenever we have been here the service has been great, the
Great place to chill and hang out. We got the churros, Mexican rice, and classic margarita. Everything was good!
This place is amazing, beautiful decor and lively atmosphere. I visited it on Friday night and it was packed so we had to wait for a table. That have plenty of vegetarian options. Food arrived quickly and it was delicious. They have a lovely patio that overlooks the Market Square and plenty more tab
A little piece of México, you must order a real Mexican beer and Tequila. Start with the avocado and chips, the Baja tacos and Barbacoa, dont forget Carne Asada and ask for Nixtamal tortillas.
Great location, interesting interior and clean washrooms. Good selection of legitimate Mexican food and drinks. Good local beer selection too. I'll definitely be back soon.
Tacos are light and delicious. Atmosphere is comfy and intimate. Margheritas was blessed. Servers were gracious hosts. Take your friends, have fun, stop reading reviews already, jeez.
It was my first ever visit to Victoria, and so to this restaurant. Excellent food and service. Thanks to Arie and our server (sorry to forget your name) you guys were amazing. Complements to the chefs as well!!!
Great happy hour. The tortillas from Maiiz are a nice touch. Great selection of mezcals, too.
I vowed I would never eat Mexican outside of the southwest. I'm from Arizona, and I am a regular at all my local latin eateries. I got overruled on this one, but I was pleasantly surprised. Cafe Mexico combines traditional cuisine with unique local flavors, beautiful presentation, and large portion
