Nice gastropub across the street from the Empress. Small outdoor seating area was nice. The fish and chips were very well done. Crispy shoestring fries with a nice batter on the chicken. Service was a bit terse but they weren’t too busy, at least it seemed, but the food came out relatively quickly.
I can’t give it a five star review because they messed up my daughter’s sushi and put onions all over it when we had very specifically ordered it plain. Then they didn’t ask if we wanted another one…She sort of just asked if we could pick the onions off and walked away. Also, I ordered my steak rare
One of the best places to enjoy a casual meal at Commons. We enjoyed tacos, wine, beer and cocktails during the happy hour. The menu may be limited but pretty ok for the price and happy hours. Great late evening experience with a varied and appealing 'Late Happy Hour' food and drink menu. Patio is a wonderful spot to dine and watch the city go by. Server Janessa was a helpful, fun, and efficient final touch to our excellent experience.
We came just for a couple of drinks and had lovely experience. Service was quick and friendly. Atmosphere is very cosy. Next time will definitely try their food.
Good ceviche, a bit pricey. The prawn tacos were amazing. The meat tacos were really good but we preferred the prawn ones. The drinks are always 👌 the server gave us more chips for the ceviche, which is great
The location of this restaurant is great. I went with my 12 year old daughter. We ordered the clam chowder, calamari and tuna salad. The clam chowder and calamari were good. The tuna was dry and the potatoes undercooked. And strangely, at the end of our meal the server asked us if we wanted separate

Amazing patio with their happy hour! Oysters were a must for us and the freshness & quality did not disappoint. Great environment coupled by amazing service by Kendra. Will definitely be back ^_^
