This place was wonderful. My mom and I came from out of town and always like to find the best food in town and this was definitely one of those places. We walked in to be greeted by a super friendly host and waiter and didn’t wait long to be seated. If I remember correctly we didn’t even have a reservation either. The menu is simple making it easy to pick things to eat. This is very much a shared small plates type of place which I highly recommend doing. The food...absolutely delicious. I found that the portions were perfect and every dish was an exploration of flavors and textures that were very successfully done. I would absolutely go back here next time I happened to be in town.

Wow! What a fantastic dining experience. The farm-to-table tasting menu was exceptional and I especially loved the mixed pairing with some interesting ciders, wines and liquors. I was dining on my own while on a work trip so I sat at the bar. I had a great time talking with the staff. Their service was fast and friendly. A definite redo!

Intimate restaurant with impressive bar and wonderful menu of local and sustainable foods. The meal was superb (roast duck breast local cheeseburger and potato gnocchi) but dessert was sublime (chocolate cake, elderflower Pavlova, Financier). Great service - thanks Joanna! Also: good after dinner drinks - try an amaro.

Started at the bar with drinks and their fried mushrooms and then headed to the table for their kitchen tasting menu (opted to share plates so we could get everything on the tasting menu). Wonderful staff. Creative dishes. Quality ingredients, with few miss steps (truffles overpowered by black garlic, miso fish could use more miso/sake a la Nobu) but overall an outstanding dining experience that we would repeat. Worth a detour for.

The food here is fantastic on so many levels. This is fine dining calibur in a relaxed atmosphere so dont expect buffet pricing! The food here is cooked so perfectly that even though I have a sensitive stomach, I had no issues eating the asparagus salad, bread, steak and halibut dinner. The Chef is a pro and doesnt slather the food with butter and oil so you dont have to worry about this being greasy food. I could eat here multiple nights in a row and not have an issue with my digestion. I like a medium well steak and it was cooked to perfection. The halibut was tender and just melted in our mouths. The salad was fresh with great flavor. And the bread is a must, it is served warm! The service was fantastic. Even though we didnt have a reservation and expected to sit at the bar, we ended up with a table.

First time here and very impressed! The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was very relaxing. The food...simply amazing, i had the lamb and my wife had the pork, the meat so soft and tender just mouth watering! Very romantic for a date night, we went for our anniversary and was both pleased! Magnificent! From the food to the service to the drinks to the ambience, everything was perfection. Definitely get the semolina, the tomato salad, and the smoked salmon. Loved the skirt steak and lamb entrees, too! Topped off by a great chocolate dessert. Can't wait to return!

Food is very tasty BUT be prepared to spend a hefty amount of money. Our party bought the 3 course meal for $56. The potions were somewhat small in my opinion considering the price but it's our last day here in Victoria, Go big or go home right? Once in a blue moon here is perfectly fine. The atmosphere was nice and the service was great. Not a bad way to end our vacation!

I truly enjoyed the experience of the vegetarian tasting menu with BC pairing. Many things were worth the trip, especially the gniocchi or the carrot sorbet, every dish was refreshing and interesting. All in a pretty place.

Top quality Victoria restaurant. Plenty of options from tasting menu, to family style, to regular menu. We had the family style with four people split between the pork and the seafood platter. The pork was the greatest thing we've ever eating and the starters and sides were phenomenal. Highly recommend and would come back again.

We where treated to a wonderful meal by the staff at OLO. Great farm to table preparation and presentation. Truly a gem in the city of Victoria. Flavours and matches from a chef and staff that care. As always, we had to try just about everything on the menu and nothing disappointed. If you have a chance, make sure you make a reservation and go.

Fresh and wonderful flavors really make the dishes at OLO stand out. They also use locally sourced ingredients, which can tell in the freshness of it all. The ingredients for the dishes change depending on season and what's fresh, so the online menu may be different from what they have. We had the Smash whiskey drink, which was light and refreshing. The shrimp toast was packed with flavor, but not fishy. The Pork Duo was packed with so many different flavors, it was enjoyable to isolate different bites, but also mix all the flavors together. The Flank steak was a solid flavorful dish, it is Flank steak so it won't be that super tender, cut-with-a-fork type of cut, but was very enjoyable. We ended with the Black Forest cake and capaccinos, a perfect end to a great meal.

Excellent creative locavore fare in a cosy location in downtown Victoria. We sat at the bar as we didn't have a reservation and the service was excellent. Bar tender makes some excellent cocktails and gave great recommendations.

My husband and I come here often and recently came to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. It was an absolutely amazing evening, from the cocktails right through to the dessert. We felt so taken care of, and really enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant. The food was AMAZING. So were the drinks (I may be a little biased). I can't recommend enough.

Hands down the best food I had in Canada. Farm to table, everything is ridiculously fresh from local ingredients, flavorful, and very skillfully cooked. good service, cozy atmosphere, amazing food, and memorable experience.

The food hear was outstanding. I was afraid we would get small food cubes We ordered the family seafood platter and got great shrimp fish mussels along with really tasty vegies. It was topped with very light frothy butter. It was fantastic! My husband had raw oysters and a local bottled beer which also get thumbs up .

Wow! Every bite, of every course, was unreal. You get what you pay for, believe me. My wife and I agree this is the best restaurant in Victoria. The staff were amazing, friendly and professional. I had the "kitchen tasting menu" and my wife had the "vegetarian tasting menu". Both were perfect. I have to come up with something negative so I dont sound like a crazy person. There were no strong local IPA's(6 or 7%) on the beer menu which I've come to expect living in hipster Victoria. Oh well, I wasnt drinking tonight. I love it and will be back.

Didn’t have time for a tasting menu but ordered plenty of food and everything was so yummy! The cocktails, wine, food and friendly staff were amazing! Definitely going back next time I’m in Victoria!! ❤️❤️❤️

So my vegetarian pal was visiting, found an online review and said, "let's try the vegetarian tasting menu" - we were so pleased - the varieties, the flavours, the colours, the aromas ... I think I said "they're doin' UMAMI and they're not Japanese!"... BUT what blew us away was that my chum said "let's go back", so we made a reservation and I let them know that we LIKED the previous meal so much that we wouldn't be upset to have the same things, but would it be possible to mix it up a bit so that not everything was the same... WELL... we had a completely different meal (this was six days from first meal with things NOT on the menu) (except for our re-request of the fried seminola sticks with garlic aioli omg) which was equally satisfying as the first time... SO good... okay, and I confess that I'm awaiting the right omnivorous friend to come to eat the meated tasting menu... and as we discussed, $45pp for the vegetarian tasting menu is a bargain... So-olo good!

We stumbled upon Olo yesterday, and I must say, it was the best meal I have had in years!!! I had the special, Halibut Confit with seared bone marrow and the most perfectly poached eggs I have ever had! I will be back often!!! Loved it! Service was awesome, food was incredible, surroundings were beautiful!

Stopped in for brunch at Olo last weekend. I had the steak and poached eggs, the biscuits, the rösti potatoes ( and then another side of them ) and the pork belly. Everything was incredible. The room, the food and the service. The last time I had such an incredible brunch with such attention to every detail and level of quality was at Hawksworth in Vancouver. An absolutely unforgettable experience. Looking forward to returning as soon as possible. A huge thank you to the owners, management and staff for crafting one of the best restaurants on the West coast.

Seriously! Such an amazing meal and experience. Service was fantastic from the moment we walked in the door. Drinks were excellent. Wine list had some wonderful choices. Ling cod was cooked to perfection, as was the octopus. Lamb ragout was so rich and flavorful. An honest to goodness farm to table restaurant. Must try if in Victoria!

There are only 40 foods I'm able to eat and am used to eating just lettuce when I go out for dinner. Our server carefully listened to my dietary needs and the chef cooked up such an incredible meal. Pork over green beans and kale. We just ate their last night and I'm craving it again already! There were six of us in our party and everyone's dishes were plated so beautifully and even the pickiest guest at the table was raving about the flavors.
