It was my first time visiting the Vernon Farmers Market.
I usually visit if it's the Friday night Polson Market, or if you really want to go into the time capsule, the previous weekday Farmers Markets held in the Village Green parking lot.
There were about 30 stalls altogether set up on Monday. About 10 of them are dedicated to food and the rest are dedicated to everything else.
Make sure to get there prior to 12:30 as live music ends by then and vendors start packing up.
It's not a big setup, but feel free to visit if you're looking for something to do on a weekday in Vernon.
What's not to love! Farmer's markets are special, they smell, sound, and feel great, and the food, merch, and crafts are amazing. Vernon's market is one of the best! But especially go for the best tasting, freshest fruits and veggies!!!
Love it!!! Lots of vegetables and local artists selling their goodies.
Parking is around the Kal Tire Arena... plenty of parking available!
Highly recommended!
We entered the market at the end of the event. It is a nice and small market with friendly vendors.
We get free drip coffee since they are about to leave. A lot of vendor provide free samples and they are delicious! Cinnamon buns and chocolate treats are very unique, the coffee we got are surprisingly good.
There is a good variety of products from. Food trucks fresh vegetables and fruit. With some local breweries as well as other vendors
My favourite place to shop in the summer for all the beautiful produce the area has to offer. Everything is fresh. Beautiful locally made gifts and goodies.
The vendors are so gracious, hard working and kind. Rarely do you see a vendor or customer without a smile.
I’ve never left the market empty handed or disappointed.
Great market with a variety of vendors offering fresh produce, crafts, art and food. Not to be missed when in Vernon.
Typical small parking lot farmers market. Couple activities for kids and some good selection of goods and produce. Not a ton of ready made food if planning to eat here but did really enjoy the east Indian food truck. Prices are average to high at most stands.
Was there this afternoon. 8:00 -
1:00 p.m. Food & drinks available. Live music. Lots of fresh fruit & veggies..rather pricey in my opinion. Nice to walk about & enjoyed. Also jewelry for sale.
Lots of vendors for fresh fruit and veg!
