Review Cattlemen's Club - Vernon

A great for a meal, we have been many time for the buffet. Have also booked private gatherings. Plenty of food and choices, always fresh, place is clean and staff is very helpful and friendly. The ranch is a great backdrop as well. A must visit if you are in the area.

I've been here both the breakfast buffet and for their annual Valentine's Day dinner. It gas always been excellent. I look forward to dinning there again.

Had dinner tonight and it was phenomenal! It was without a doubt one of the best if not the best steak dinners I have had in any restaurant. The food came out hot and the portions were more than enough. I’m looking forward to going back

Excellent food in a cozy atmosphere. Big portions meet quality of ingredients.

Took 1 1/2 hours for food in a half full restaurant. Three of us wanted a well done prime rib and had to send it back twice. On the third time we were informed that they can't do well done steaks and we would need to eat it that way or order something else off the menu. One of us ate the rare steak another ordered spaghetti and meatballs and the other changed to chicken and prawns. Sitting here 25 min later still waiting for our second order of food. The Chef sucks! Waitresses are good. Food did taste good potions were large but we all ended up eating our meals at separate times. Very disappointing. probably won't be back due to kitchen service , price and location makes it too much of an effort for a night out.

🎂Got to celebrate my 40-13th Birthday which was on a Saturday-Steak special day! I was there with Family and Friends and we all had the special for just $20:) The meal was fantastic with baked potato dressed with garlic churned butter and sour cream, caesar salad, toast and steak just the way I liked it(medium rare).🎂 Alexis was our server and she was amazing, polite and always there when we needed her. This was my second time there as the first time we went was on my daughters graduation... Which was also a Saturday! Fantastic food, great service and the surroundings, were very relaxed, could hear one another speak and just overall, a wonderful evening. Will definitely be back.🌷

Visited the Cattleman’s again and AGAIN was not disappointed. The very best prime rib dinner in the Vernon area. Holds its own against names like the Keg and the Sawmill. Our go-to for the best. Not only delicious, but brought home the leftovers for a second great meal the next day. A perfect place to bring family and friends and gift cards can be purchased for giving to those special peeps. Alexis is a great server and so personable. Our compliments........AGAIN.

Beautiful area..great farm. Very impressive. Food ... not to excited about it. Maybe next won't do the buffet. Worth the drive to see. Will visit again

Attended a Valentine themed dinner buffet on Valentines Day, 2017. We made reservations for 6:00 and when we arrived we were greeted very nicely at the door. The ambiance is very warm with nicely candlelit tables, in a cozy intimate ranchlike feel space. Service was exceptional and the buffet was so well appointed with incredible salads, an abundant choice of entree dishes and an amazing choice of desserts. The Chef Dale, his daughter and family are amazing hosts and I have always had the very best in dining experience at the Cattemens. He supports locally grown produce and you cant beat the quality and flavours. Its an absolute favorite and a must destination when you are in the Okanagan!!

Gluten-Free??? What a Joke!. We called ahead and asked about Gluten-Free options<br/> We were told they had lots of options available for every taste. What a joke. When we arrived we were told they have salads available. But they couldn't say if anything else was gluten free due to seasonings added. We settled for a salad and it arrived loaded up with croutons! Do they know what gluten does to a person who has Celiac's?? The rest of the table's food was mediocre and highly over priced for portion size. We will never go again. Celiac's Beware!!

Not a 4 star.. What happened to the great steaks that they use to have? I had a ribeye steak last nite that was<br/>cut from the cooked prime rib that they were serving that nite, which made the steak very tough.<br/>When I requested a new steak, they suggested a filet. The steak tasted and looked like it was <br/>cooked (god knows when), and kept warm for hours. In my eyes and stomach, that is not considered a 4 star restaurant, at best a 2 star.

We went for the Sunday brunch and the food was amazing as usual .One of the best brunches around and its only $13.95 :).The chef Dale is always coming to your table to see how the food is and he is always on top of his game with his own unique touches on his dishes such as Cauliflower / jalapeno cheddar soup,perogies,beef,eggs benny,deserts etc etc!! The service and food was OUTSTANDING and there was always fresh hot food being refilled :) I really don't understand all the whiners complaining about the place and service? its ALWAYS TOP NOTCH!!<br/><br/>And don't forget the wicked Caesars :P

Worst service I have ever recieved.. We have come before and the service wasn't good but we decided to try again since we have heard such good things about the owner/chef. We went in for our meal about a few days ago and were very very disappointed. Upon entering, I thought the place looked a little worn out and a dirty, the waitress we had did not smile at us either.. Just told us to follow her to our table. After sitting, it took about 15 minutes just for her to come back with water and an additional ten minutes for us to get the drinks we wanted. When she returned this time, she seemed to be in an even worse mood and that she did not want to be there. The food was good, as always, but the service just ruined the entire evening. On our last visit, we had asked to see the manager, which is the waitress we had a few days ago, and she was rude and snotty. I will never return to this location due to that server, and it's sad that the owner lets such a negative person manage his restaurant for him.

My dad went there in may to have lunch.the server told him that he was not going to be served because he was too dirty.I wrote a review on their page and they never had any response.another person wrote a review about the incident and was responded to very rudely and was told not to eat there.my dad is a farmer .he was dirty but he was waiting for his friend and to order a beverage first to come back so he could clean up.never going back.he made my dad feel awful.

ZERO STARS!! A rancher /fa.... ZERO STARS!! <br/>A rancher /farmer was declined service at this place yesterday. Very ranch like . I will never visit and will be sure to spread the word.

The food and service was by far the worst. Yes McDonald's was better for service and food :( Highly disappointed.

Food was terrible, our waitress seemed like she wanted to be anywhere else but there and she took a long time to get us drinks, food and we waited for awhile to get our bills. Would not recommend it.

A great dinner!!. Had the best Prime Rib Dinner ever at the Cattleman's Club Restaurant The Yorkshire pudding was outstanding and the best I have ever had. The ambiance is great, relaxing and comfortable. It is clear that Chef Dale takes great pride in every meal he prepares. I liked the rest of the menu and saw many items I would like to try next time we go back.

Picky people. My wife,freinds and i frequent cattlemans club and have always been treated with nothing but respect.our meals and the sunday smorg are always awesome..kudo's to the staff that put their all into this operation!!any of you winers out there should walk a mile in their shoes and see how you make out!!!!

Nothing for Vegetarians. I had a bad Caesar salad. It's probably better for the meat eaters, but for me I was disappointed and bored.

Bad for parents, no lost and found. Doesn't have stuff for kids to do, so fortunately I had my own crayons. But I left them there (expensive beeswax ones that don't break) overnight and they claimed the janitor threw them out. well, perhaps you should instruct your janitor to keep things that customers leave behind! <br/>They also don't have craft beers, just the crappy commercial ones. <br/>The manager wasn't helpful in my opinion.

Food: Burnt Yorkshire pudding, crusty mashed potatoes (clearly left to warm in the oven too long). Service: Water glasses never refilled, our plates were taken about 15 minutes ago and we still don't have a bill. Not super impressed.

Friday Prime Rib Special - $20 - YUM!!. We were driving by on a Friday and saw this sign - we turned around to give it a shot and were not disappointed!<br/><br/>We looked at the menu just to see and it looked very good, but we wanted the Prime Rib. Our dinner was very nicely presented. The prime rib was perfectly cut to taste. The mashed potatoes were creamy and delicious, the freshly steamed asparagus was so tasty and my husband says the crispy outside, soft inside of the Yorkshire Pudding was *&^%ing awesome! Nice selection of wines at decent prices. <br/><br/>The only disappointment was dessert, we had the mile high chocolate cake - everything else tasted very fresh, using fresh ingredients and homemade.... but the chocolate cake tasted stale and like it was made with edible oil product.<br/><br/>The decor is rustic and country community hall-ish - very suitable for setting, etc. <br/><br/>Recommended and would go again.

The menu is incredible, the food is even better! The staff and service is impeccable!

Thanks for Making it Special. I just wanted to say thanks for making our Grandmothers Birthday a special one. The food and Service were terrific. Not sure why the previous review would complain about getting hot plates, in fact I wish more restaurants would do this. Anyway THANKS…..
