Stop at your place last night with my husband and 2 friends. Our supper was amazing. Fantastic food, best corn chowder if ever had. Prices were great and such a friendly server. Definitely will be back again.
Finally made it to quackers for lunch today since they opened, soooooooo delicious!! No mistaking the hamburger patties for anything but homemade - highly recommend the bacon cheeseburger! Looking forward to trying everything else on the menu - well worth the trip ... brings back memories of the Corner :D

Great little place to stop and grab a bite to eat. The food is very tasty and their portions are generous at such reasonable prices. I love stopping here on our way up to Cedar Lake!
I thought this place was delightfull! Glad I stopped here and got myself a "home cooked" meal. The place is relaxed , unassuming and NOT expensive. Reason for the 5 star is the humungous Beanie Burger I ordered...10 0z of fresh home made hamburger wow!!!!
I had the taco salad. It was tasty and just the right sized portion. The tortilla chips were on the side, so they didn't get soggy. The salsa and sour cream were also served on the side and generous portions. I'm dairy free so it was a nice alternative since I only had to ask to have no cheese on it.
Traveling across Ontario on my way to Edmonton. I wanted a home cooked meal. Not the fast food chain food or a convenience store. Unfortunately covid wiped out alot of these private owned mom and pop places. Quackery at first Glace looked like a take out restaurant. I turned around and I'm glad I did. Great food, fast service, pleasant staff and a relaxing atmosphere. There's lots of room for a large group or family to have a great meal.
We stopped here for lunch today, halfway through our drive from Winnipeg to Thunder Bay. It was a lovely place to stop and have a bite of lunch. Fast and friendly service and wonderful food. Highly recommended.
If you are passing through Vermilion Bay, swing into Quackers. Probably the best food this town has for home cooking. The town is really struggling in the last 5 years so don't expect high dining, but do give them a shot. The food is flavorful and fresh.
We stopped in for lunch Wednesday, the restaurant was packed, but we managed to find seats. Surprisingly, the service was quick for as busy as they were at the time. The food was excellent, hot, tasty and portion size was really large. Homemade soup was delicious, I had a beer with lunch, fresh and cold. Very friendly staff and we'll be back. Thanks.
We enjoyed the experience of being there.. The service was excellent they were really friendly. The restaurant was clean, staff was wearing masks . The only thing that I found different was they had a men's washroom but none for woman.
