Review Pho Mi 00 - Vaughan

Located in the plaza area outside Vaughan Mills close to the Chuck E Cheese side. Nice staff. Extensive menu. Decent decor. Lots of seating. The soup base for the pho is oily. The meat in the rice dish is on the small side. The rolls with shrimp are good. Overall only ok.

An early go-to pho spot in Vaughan is Pho Mi 99 because they are so convenient for takeout. Fast forward a year, we finally dropped by to dine-in. It's pretty much a family-run food hall, with trolleys of prepared dishes coming from the kitchen within minutes of ordering. Their well-done beef rice noodle soup had a decent pho broth base. It's a little on the oily side but the savoury soup taste that you want is there. The waitress was quite considerate, bringing scissors & a plastic bowl for the lil one w/o us asking (plus one star!). The grilled pork and spring roll on vermicelli was also on point. A bit skimpy on the grilled meat but the golden spring roll is very crispy with a thick batter that helps fill up your appetite. We thought perhaps they were having a slow evening with only 2 tables occupied in the large dining area when we arrived. However 20 minutes later, the place was pretty much packed to my surprise. Pho Mi 99 is a local favourite for cheap authentic Vietnamese eats.

PROS: pho was brought to my table in less than 2 min and flavour was good. CONS: service was less than pleasant, raw sprouts were old, didn’t check for vaccination status. I came in because my usual spot (Picko Lime) was closed today… And I definitely won’t be returning.

Business hours show opening at 10am, when we arrived at 10:30am, this place was dark and no one greeted us. We yelled hello anyone there? And finally someone greeted us and set us down. Food wise, the soup is hot but the noodles weee overcook and too soft, we suspect it may be leftovers from last night. The only highlight is the Traditional Vietnamese iced coffee. It taste really good!

Fantastic Vietnamese foods, the true taste of tradition dishes. Highly recommended.

Used to be my favorite Pho noddle place for 10 years. After 2 years of pandemic and lockdown I understand there are changes on price and staffing, but not expecting Food quality change so much. The Owner telling me most staff are gone after last few lockdown, but not expecting the chef changes with weird taste of food. Noodle over cook and much smaller portion. I understand the price increase 20% which I have no problem with that due to inflation, but can't lower your quality of food, very disappointed. Few month ago I was there thought might be just that time, and few days ago I was there again the tasted even worst. Something need to change big time, quit just keep telling your customer these 2 years lockdown screw your business alot, but not knowing your quality of food no longer the same anymore.

Customer service from the cashier guy at the front cash was terrible, worst I've ever experienced. When we asked for the bill, he told us to walk up to the counter to pay. I told him I was paying cash. He rudely said "come up!" I was shocked that this kind of customer service still exist today. However, the waiter and the waitresses were kind got to credit them. They even apologized on the cashier guy on his behalf. My second visit to this pho restaurant and last due to the customer service.

Great food great service, what else can you ask for? The broth is deliciously flavourful, only wish they used ribeye for the rare beef. Everything was overall great!

I ordered a small bowl of Pho Tai - rare beef - and a mango milkshake for $12. The soup was what I have come to expect from most pho establishments. It wasn't the worst I have had but it wasn't the best. The milkshake was kind of bland. Pho Mi 99 mildly satisfied my pho craving but I wouldn't go back.

I've been to pho mi 99 several times, but this time it wasn't quite up to the expectation. <br/><br/>What I liked<br/>- conveniently located close to Vaughan Mills. <br/>- large restaurant, plenty of seating. <br/>- Clean<br/>- decent service <br/><br/>What can be improved<br/>- my coconut slushy was too icy and tasted bland. <br/><br/>Neutral<br/>- special house everything pho is average. <br/>- crispy spring rolls is a tad oily but ok.

Pho was solid and Pad Thai was yum! The padthai wasn't made with ketchup like other places but was still tangy... A decent place to get a meal near Vaughn Mills on a rainy day!

I was starving after shopping at Vaughn Mills shopping center next door.  It was about 9pm when we got here.  Looks like any other Pho place but the price was a little on the high end ($7.45 for a Medium bowl).  I ordered a rare beef with tripe noodle.  The soup was really good with lots of sprouts and mint.  The beef was sliced thin and tasted fresh with lots of flavor.  It is a no frills place and what you see is what you get.  No disappointments here.

I have been coming to this Pho Mi 99 for years. Fast and Consistent. Always a good experience.<br/><br/>Conveniently located across from Vaughan Mills. Pho Mi 99 is a much better option than eating inside Vaughan Mills food court before or after shopping!<br/><br/>Menu is quite diverse as there are more than just Pho! I like how I can even select what toppings for my Bun Bo Hue.. as I am never a fan of pig's knuckles.

This is my regular spot for a hot bowl of delicious pho at least once every two weeks. I always order pho tai or sometimes grilled pork and chicken on rice with fried egg. For sides I usually order fresh grilled pork rolls or fried spring rolls which are very delicious! <br/><br/>Service is always very quick and the food comes out fast. Yum!
